overnight in La Jolla

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Location, just off the fwy allowing easy access to rest of SD and away from the congestion of La Jolla. Valet or self parking for those with a car.
Cons: Valet attendant changed my seat setting each tme which is a pet peeve of mine.
My wife and I stayed overnight and had an excellence. We attended a good friend's anniversay party Sat night in La Mesa and didn't want to drive back to LA late at night. Location is perfect since it's right off interstate 5. To La Jolla Cove is about a 5 mile drive. Facility is what one would expect of a Hyatt Regency. Valet parking is $32; self parking is $25. So we opted to go with valet for an extra $7. Room is quiet and clean. Bed is comfortable. We booked on Expedia so got a reasonable rate. For the short stay we had, it was perfect.

Hyatt La Jolla

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Location, service, proximity to everything, free gym access
Cons: None, they are all over their customer satisfaction
Location: La Jolla beach
Hyatt La Jolla was a delight. The service was fantastic from top to bottom. The overall feel was fabulous. Great personnel, location, and next to some great restaurants. I loved that they had fantastic customer service and offered things like a fridge for my room at no additional cost. I would definitely stay there again. Close to the beach and fantastic views.

Very disappointing

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Pool
Cons: Service
Location: Ok
We were having problem with the keys all the time. We had to order new keys 4-5 times. Even the pool was great there was no service over there. Personnel was not very polite. The rooms were ok but we had problem with toilet flush...Even the hotel has a high grading on Expedia it's the worst hotel I've ever stayed.

Great hotel, expensive parking... Look for a spot in the street and save yourself $25

La Jolla hotel

Posted Aug 20, 2015
The hotel staff are very nice, in particular the bellman. However, housekeeping in the rooms leaves a lot to be desired. Toiletries were not replaced, and the hotel does not follow the usual "put towels on the floor if you want fresh ones" method. Overall the hotel is ok but not as nice as other Hyatts I have stayed at.

This is a big, quality hotel on the edge of beautiful La Jolla. There is a giant pool, and staff are friendly and helpful.

Quick get away.

Posted Aug 17, 2015
We stayed here for two nights to celebtate our anniversary. The room was updated and very clean. There are many places to eat around and in the hotel . It is close and easy to get to the places we wanted to go. We would go back.
