Great location!Posted Nov 8, 2015
Awesome location, walking distance to shop/eat/drink. Hotel is extremely dated but as clean as a really old room can be. Staff is nice. Great view if have balcony. Interior rooms are really terrible. 😁

Quiet convenience by the beachPosted Nov 2, 2015
Pros: Large suites and lots of local shops nearby.
Cons: The air-conditioning can be improved. It would be great to have central air instead of the portable units as they tend to be noisy.
Location: Lots of coffee shops, breakfast places and fine dining all within walking distance. You can rent bikes at the hotel to cruise around the beach.
Our family stayed in a suite so it had 2 separate bedrooms plus a pull out sofa bed. It was great that the kids had their own room. It had a kitchenette and a small fridge. It was very roomy! Big sitting dining rooms. We bought paid parking so parking by the beach was not a problem. We had a ocean view from the balcony. Plus, there were lots of coffee shops and breakfast places within 1 block of the hotel.

Hotel showing it's age.Posted Oct 29, 2015
No air conditioning. A faint moldy smell to all the carpet. Very noisy. Good complementary breakfast. Inadequate parking. Wondered why the price seemed low when I booked - confirmed once again that you sometimes get what you pay for. Beautiful views though and very close to the water and everything you would want to do in the nice little town of La Jolla. If you're on a strict budget, it still might be a reasonable place to consider if you're not looking for top flight amenities because of the great location.

Beautiful viewPosted Oct 16, 2015
The room was beautiful, with an amazing view. However, there is no central air so the living room area was too hot to sit in. The cleaning services could be improved. There was hair in the bathroom and the furniture also needed a vacuuming.

Across from the beach and fabulous!Posted Oct 9, 2015
Pros: Sea Lions on the beach, at night!!! Right across from the hotel :)
We loved our stay here. It was comfortable, close to the beach, had a great pool, rooftop breakfast and was good to us.

Best view and location in La Jolla.Posted Oct 9, 2015
Although the viewamd location are the best on La Jolla, our room needed a thorough cleaning and replacement of old shower. The room was spacious and otherwise we'll appointed but dirty windows, ledges, shower stall, etc. detracted from it. If the owners put some upgrades into the units and scrubbed the rooms and carpet, this hotel would really shine as you can't get a better location!
