Hotel was great, hallway noise with doors closing resonates too much, other then that good experience.

Better than AveragePosted Oct 6, 2015
Pros: Location close to beach towns and I-5
Cons: Clean the shower head.
Location: Near all the little beach communities on the 101 Corridor.
We were looking for a place on the Coast Highway but close to I-5. La Quinta received very good rating scores, so we booked there. The hotel looks very nice. The guest services is very accommodating. Our first room smelled of mildew, so we were rebooked into another room. Very nice, smelled clean. The room was large and the bathroom nice. The shower head needed cleaning, but everything else was ok. The hotel is right next to a gentlemen's club, but it wasn't noisy. I would stay there again.

nice stayPosted Oct 5, 2015
Pros: I liked the large counter and sink the room had.
Cons: I'm not sure
Location: The hotel is right next to a strip club and is really near the beach.
I had a nice stay here but I felt that the hotel was small and also has a small parking lot. Our room was very clean though somewhat spacious.

Great Pet Friendly Hotel.Posted Aug 26, 2015 on Hotels
I've stayed in several hotels in the Oceanside area. La Quinta was by far the best. Clean, well appointed, friendly staff and pet friendly. The club next door was not an issue at all. No noise, no weird characters, no problems at all.

CLose to LEGOLANDPosted Aug 19, 2015
Pros: location to lego land park and the beach staff was friendly and accommodating
Cons: less noisy housekeeping personnel
Location: lego land, beach, and nice restaurants near by
nice large room, comfortable bed close to LEGOLAND and restaurants clean rooms good price. Didn't much like that it is right next door to a gentlemen's club. Very noisy housekeeping staff very early. Had a late night at LEGOLAND and everyone was woken up a little to early.

Close to beach and LegolandPosted Aug 18, 2015
Pros: Close to beach and Legoland, breakfast.
Cons: Cleanliness of room.
Location: Beach and Legoland are very close. Close to freeway, but did not hear any freeway noise.
This room was just OK. Upon entering, the room looked clean but had a musty, weird smell. The window was left open, so this was obviously an issue housekeeping was aware of. Beds were clean, but soft (prefer harder mattress). The bathroom was mostly clean, but corners of tub and bottom of toilet could have used some bleach. Don't hotels use bleach? Things could look/be so much cleaner! A/C worked well, but having arrived at night, we turned on the heater, to warm up the room a little and get rid of the musty smell, and it started smoking!! Even set off the smoke alarm. Then had to open the window and turn on the A/C, which smelled almost, if not definitely, like urine. It was gross. Pets are allowed, so maybe that was the problem?? If we come to the area again, we will probably try somewhere new.
