Pleasant stay

Posted Nov 27, 2016
We stayed two night over thanksgiving. Love the dog friendly policy and free breakfast. Dog area was a bit small and inadequate for s dog friendly property. Elevator was creaky and did not inspire confidence or a desire to use more than once. Nice room and pool. freindley staff. We will visit again.

Family with 2 children on a weekend trip

Posted Nov 26, 2016
Pros: The continental breakfast is very good, my children loved it and the location.
Cons: Parking should be free, most of hotels in San Diego have parking free.
Location: Close to Sea World
Very nice family suite, with bunk beds, my children loved the beds and the continental breakfast, the hotel in general looks good. Staff very efficient, I called them the day of our arrival to let them about our late arrival (around 10:00 pm) they were able to find my reservation quickly, they advised me to call them again if for any reason we will be there past midnight. Check in/out was very quick with no complications. First day we had enough towels and toiletries, second day we did not have enough towels, we requested more towels, they were provided soon. The bad side, our suite was in the second floor, we could feel/hear the kids in the suite above us running and jumping all the time. It was very noisy at night, guests running and screaming outside.

Frustrating

Posted Nov 12, 2016
Location: The location was close to the I-8. And had a grocery store and shopping on the other side of the freeway.
This hotel makes you pay $10 a night for parking in a small lot or very small parking garages that has so much traffic going through the property. This hotel is "pet friendly" but you have to walk your dogs all the way to the other side of the building to a very small pet area and if they happen to go before you get there then they charge you a fee. The room doors are exterior but you have to walk up stairs or take the elevator just to get to the 1st floor because of the parking garage under neath. There were weird people walking around asking for help getting a room and bums hiding under the stairs by the pet area.

Perhaps, suitable for transient travelers, not for leisure.

good location but...

Posted Oct 24, 2016
Pros: Location, free parking, and price.
Cons: Quality control. Need to check the rooms after housekeeping is done. Also, advertising, we did not get a 2 bedroom suite.
Location: location is good, right off freeway.
This is a good location when visiting san diego. Just minutes to all the "Tourist" attractions, airport, etc. But, we booked a 2 bedroom suite but instead got a one bedroom suite (with NO bedroom door) and bunk beds instead of a sofa in the livingroom! Bunk beds, (which we expected in the 2nd "bedroom") in the living room is not 2 bedrooms!. Also no table to sit at except a children's very small table. We also had to call the front desk 3 different days because housekeeping kept forgetting things like: TOWELS, WASH CLOTHS, TOILET PAPER AND SHEETS FOR THE BUNK BEDS!! The front desk personnel was very nice and promptly had staff bring the necessary items, BUT 3 DAYS OF THIS! We were surprised because we always left a tip for housekeeping, except for the last day! Good price but not worth the headaches!

Breakfast place is much better than other hotels

Posted Oct 24, 2016
Pros: Breakfast is good.
Cons: Parking fee is $10 per night. It will be better without parking charge.
This hotel is by Highway 8, on the opposite side of the Mission Valley shopping district. Close to Some attractions like Balboa Park and Old town, even Sea World is not too far away. I like their breakfast that has more choices than other places with complimentary breakfast. The dinning room is much better that other hotels I have been.

Great Stay

Posted Oct 24, 2016
Location: San Diego Zoo is very close.
Just stayed for one night but great staff and room was good, could have had a bigger room for 2 kids and 2 adults but was fine.
