On a busy street. Behind the property homeless were sleeping. The breakfast buffet was okay. But the pool area was great.

First of all there was the $100 fee for incidentals (which was not on the website) and then was told all San Diego hotels charge that. No they don’t because I’ve stayed in LaQuintas which don’t and at Marriotts. This location was just close to SDSU since I was there to watch my son’s baseball game. Then the room did not have a microwave, but a refrigerator & DVD player. Like who travels w/movies let alone still watch them. And then the person above my room was very inconsiderate walking hard back and fourth from 6am to about 9ish on Saturday morning. Guest need to be mindful of others. Then on Saturday night I had to call the front desk twice for the same reason because of the guest above me walking hard and making noise. Parking spaces are too close to the room doors and you hear every little thing. Very disappointing

I booked this place because it was free parking and breakfast. Breakfast was awesome! They stocked it every 30 minutes had a waffle maker, oatmeal, bagels, coffee, oj, water, microwave, fruit, and othe little snacks. Great place. I will be staying here again. Parking is a little tight but i really enjoyed it. They also had a DVD player! So bring some movies.

Staff very unfriendly because we used Expedia; they gave us the 3rd degree. I had to go in & show my ID, gruffly spoke the check in clerk. My spouse was not allowed to put the room on his credit card. They “let” him put the $100.00 security deposit on his card. We went to the room & it smelled like cigarette smoke; we immediately reported it to the front desk. A staff person came to the room & said she would make a note of it. When we checked out, no receipt & some strange paper that was supposed to be his receipt for $100 deposit refund; it didn’t have his name or the amount, I didn’t want to get into a disagreement so I just accepted it & I left. The breakfast food was sparse & no hot coffee. Sad 😞 place to stay. I could go on about the lack of soap, towels etc but you get the picture.
