"Its the Little Things That Count"

Pros: Restaurants are very comfortable and food is good especially Bob's Steak House.
Cons: See above on "Experience" Also Omni needs to concentrate on families in the same manner as it does on large conferences.
Location: Location is very good with access to golf, tennis, Pacific Ocean
Day 1. Only 1 robe in a double room with insufficient hangars. Day 2. At pool with stained and dirty lounge covers. Despite presence of menus at pool, no service as it was "off-season" (Still charged a $30 daily "Resort Fee") Day 2. Asked life guard about food and was directed to phone that only reached room service but no menu available to order from. Day 3,4 and 5. Café out of coffee carriers (all 3 days) and out of tea. Tough carrying 2 large coffees in one hand along with other stuff. Had to bring my own carrier on 4th day! Omni will never get that 5th star with this service.

Great time- dinner excellent, spa fantastic, spa cafe- healthy & tasty. Room big. Bed comfortable. Weather- dream!

Great resort in Carlsbad

Enjoyed Christmas in California at LaCosta. Staff is impeccable, service is great. Golf course was challenging...great experience overall.

Cons: It would be nice if fridge offered snacks and drinks since rooms so far from other hotel amenities.
Pretty hotel and friendly staff. It is very spread out and finding rooms can be confusing. Highly recommend letting staff escort to room upon arrival to avoid getting lost.

Nice hotel

I was expecting more from Omni, the hotel lobby and land escape was beautiful, and that's it. I didn't get the upgrade for being gold member. The shower area stink and had very very bad smell.

feathers galore

We had down blankets but the feathers were coming out and flying everywhere. There was also an air freshener scent that I didn't like and made me nauseous but we weren't able to locate it in the room. Looked everywhere and couldn't find it. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Pros: The view from common areas was terrific.
Cons: Material needs to be added to each room summarizing location of restaurants on site and location of location for a sit down breakfast.
Location: Golf course was great and hotel is only about 5 minutes from a spectacular beach.
Very positive. Beautiful grounds. Parking is not very convenient.

3 night stay

Location: far from everything but that was what i wanted.
clean and comfortable hotel. a little noise from upstairs died down quickly. the room upkeep did not take care of the coffee set up. next day i left a note and problem was more than corrected.good stay.

Great Staff Great Facility

Pros: The facility! I wish I could have taken advantage of all the amenities available. But my favorite part was the morning walk around the property.
Cons: The stay was too short.
The room was wonderful - it was clean, roomy and comfortable. We loved the pillows!

Beautiful hotel

We had a great time. Property was so beautiful. We received massages & hair styled. Ashley was my hair stylist, she was awesome. 4 of us got massages they were all awesome. They're were a few problems. Our bed squeaked every time we moved kept us up most of the night. When we took shower we could smell a horrible sewer smell. 1 lady in the bar wasn't very friendly seem to bother her every time we asked for something, then she would forget to bring things we requested. We had a younger gentleman that was so friendly, he always made sure we were taking care of.
