A Handy Spot

Posted Nov 11, 2016
Location: It's on one of the frontage roads for I-8 in Mission Valley, and 15-20 minutes to shopping, beaches, Old Town, Qualcomm, the MCRD, Sea World.
My room was a suite, a first-floor bedroom plus a sofa-bed and a desk, and two TVs. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The maid arrived quite early each of the days I was there but didn't bother to clean the bathroom area at all, other than to put in fresh linens. It would have been easy to do since I always put away personal things and told her not to change the bed linens daily. Breakfast was plentiful: a variety of breads, several waffle-maker stations, hot eggs and meat, fruit, beverages, cereals. All was fine, just getting a little "tired."

Great Location!

Posted Oct 31, 2016
Pros: I limed the location and that it was clean
Cons: They charge $12.00 for parking and no one told me until we checked out
Location: There is shopping near by. An incredible mall with lots of places to eat. Not too far from Old Town (wonderful place)
I liked my room. There was a leaking faucet in the bathroom. Other than that it was great.

The charged a parking fees of 12.00!

Posted Oct 12, 2016
Pros: Nothing since I can hear noise from hallway and lobby.
Cons: The room I have is too close to main lobby and can hear the noise.
You pay extra for parking fees. Expedia indicated no hidden fees but when you check in ,that's when you get charged.

This was a nice hotel close to USD

Posted Sep 6, 2016
Pros: Breakfast had a nice variety each morning. Pool and hot tub were close and convenient.
Cons: Noise level. Hotel itself was not noisy; however, the walls were very thin and we could hear guests above us and water running through noisy pipes.
Location: Restaurants, mall, local Target store, gas stations. Plenty to do. Old Town was only a couple miles away. Everything seemed very easy to get to.
Stayed at the Quality Inn during move in weekend for my daughter at a local university. Almost stayed at La Quinta next door and when we arrived we were so glad we hadn't. La Quinta looked run down, and the Quality Inn was clean and updated. The room was comfortable. It had 2 queen beds and a separate sitting room. Coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave...all contributed to a very comfy stay.
