Nice hotel

Posted Sep 26, 2016
The hotel was alright other than the staff being very naggy about us leaving right at checkout time. We lost track of time and they still insist on being annoying, like come on.. the housekeeping lady's were very nice and kept up with our needs!

Sauberes Hotel in Downtown

Posted Sep 19, 2016

Nice hotel but the check in staff let it down

Posted Sep 19, 2016
Hotel ok, would expect a little bit more from the rooms for what you pay. Unfortunately the check in procedure and staff were such a complete disaster I wouldn't stay here again and would recommend that others avoid.

Decent hotel, great staff

Posted Sep 12, 2016
Pros: Outdoor bar, game room, friendly staff in the restaurant.
Cons: The room felt small due to the bulky furniture and $45 a night for parking in an uncovered lot across the street seems a little steep.
Location: Not a whole lot of eateries super close, but there are several down by the Broadway pier which is about a 15-20 min walk.
My husband, daughter (17) and I stayed for two nights. The staff was friendly and accommodating, with the exception of poor service at the outdoor bar. The room felt a little tight, but for the most part was clean. We had breakfast at the restaurant both mornings and everyone was very nice and the selection of food was great. We were disappointed that there were not more restaurants closer to the hotel for our other meals. The $45 parking fee seemed high since it was in an uncovered lot across the street. Overall, it was a decent hotel, but seemed a little overpriced for the room size and the additional parking fee.

OK hotel, don't trust the valet service.

Posted Sep 12, 2016
Pros: clean, nice lobby
this is a nice hotel but be warned, the valet staff will steal from your car. 3 of the cars in our party had money, ipods and other items taken from our cars when we parked in valet overnight. the hotel charges $45 to park valet overnight, which is ironic that they can't guarantee the safety of your car by their staff. just a fair warning. we were not charged for the valet when we took this issue to the hotel management, but still... will not be returning to this hotel again. definitely not worth it when there are so many other hotels in the area.

Good Morning! Thank you for taking the time to share this review. As we pride ourselves on delivering a memorable hotel experience, we have unfortunately fallen short of our goal during your recent stay. I was very unhappy to learn that you had multiple incidents of theft from your vehicles during your stay. I have forwarded your comments to the Valet Manager so that he can take immediate action. We do take claims of theft very seriously and have started an investigation into this matter. Once again, thank you so much for your feedback so that we may improve for our future guests.

Hotel surrounded by construction

Posted Sep 6, 2016
The hotel is overpriced, they charge extra for fridge, microwave, parking, etc. Peronally I think that its overpriced for what your getting. They should inform possible guests of the constriction and discount their rooms more. Also my room had no information as to what to dial for front desk. Had no way of knowing except to physically go down stairs to make requests.
