Amazing stay

Fine hotel close to town and beach

convenient location San Diego

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Beds. Booked for 3 adults. Sofa bed had a thin mattress and you could feel the springs. Double bed sagged into the middle
Location: Shops and places to eat nearby. Room was quiet. Easy access to La Jolla, downtown, Bilboa Park etc. Easy place to find. Comedy Cub nearby.
Friendly helpful staff. Good location, easy to find and easy to get to the main tourist sights from. Room was quiet at night. Breakfast provided was fine with plenty of variety. Kitchen in the room was well set up. We got fed up of eating out and cooked our own meal one night and everything needed was there. Good stove and a big fridge/freezer. Shower was fine, plenty of hot water. Only gripe was to do with the beds, the sofa bed wasn't great, you could feel the springs on the thin mattress and the double bed sagged into the middle - so could do with an upgrade. Room was clean and otherwise fine. A bit expensive for what it was, but that seems to be true of much of Southern California in general.

Great Hotel Near Qualcomm Stadium!

Pros: What we like most about this hotel is the full kitchen. It is nice to be able to cook a meal if you choose to. The room is very clean.
Cons: Can't think of anything...
Location: The hotel is near good restaurants and departments stores for your shopping needs.
Great hotel for our yearly trip to San Diego to see a Charger game. This is our 5th year we have been going and staying at this hotel. The staff is very professional and courteous.

It was a nice place to stay. Was a bit expensive but we stayed in a suite and really enjoyed how spacious our room was.

Room overbooked - but handled professionally

The Marriott had to provide my room to a family with an emergency. While they were not able to reach me, they did an incredible job in ensuring I had a room at an adjoining hotel. The manager walked with me over to hotel, ensured my room was ready, and even paid for the room. I insisted this was not necessary, but she had already made all the arrangements. On top of that, she provided reward points for the stay. Despite the potential glitch, this could not have been handled better, nor could my experience have been any better.
