Comfortable place to stay while checking out SDSU
Posted Sep 16, 2016
My husband and I and our son stayed at the Rodeway for our tour of the SDSU campus. There was construction going on but it was further away than if we'd been at Days Inn. The room itself was a little small, but it had everything we needed, including a fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. Often I have to use bottled water in a hotel to make coffee, but this water was good. The breakfast area was very warm and needs more ventilation, and was also quite cramped. All the fruit they had was oranges, so they need to step that up. The staff was very friendly, no issues there. There was some police activity in the daytime, and we were warned by a local that it's not the best area. The only problem we really had was fellow guests being obnoxious outside our room, which was on the first floor. With just stairs, we took that option. A workout room was advertised on Expedia but DOES NOT EXIST. Overall, a really good deal and we would stay there again.
