Cute place, great location. Wonderful views.Posted Aug 31, 2015
Pros: Location right on the coast.
Location: Walkable to the beach, local stores and restaurants. Museum next door - with great café.
I loved my room, quite spacious. Nice furnishings. Comfy bed. The only concern I had during my stay was the lack of air conditioning. It was unusually hot that weekend in San Diego. But, the room had a ceiling fan and a box fan, so at night it was just fine. The outdoor decks got a nice breeze as well as excellent views. I can't say much other than excellent about the staff. Helpful, friendly and just great. The mini-frig came in handy. Bathroom was also a decent size and stocked with shampoo, etc.

Scripps Inn, what a place!!Posted Aug 28, 2015
Pros: Continental breakfast each morning consisting of Pastries, Yoghurt and Muesli and as much coffee as you wanted to drink. Exceptional views.
Cons: It is not the cheapest place to stay in the area
Location: Eating, snorkelling, La Jolla Shores and Mission Beach, Balboa Park
Scripps Inn is an amazing complex of apartments beautifully positioned in the incredible La Jolla (pro-nouned lo hoya). This place was the highlight of a three week tour of the East Coast of the states for us a family of 4. The small complex had a great sea-vibe to it and it about 10 metres from the coast. All the main restaurants are a short walk away including VONS which is an extremely well stocked super store. Staff at the Inn were hugely helpful with lots of local knowledge to share. A must has to be snorkelling in the cove where seals, local fish-life, rays and lobsters can all be seen up close. Very highly recommend this place to anyone who is thinking about a beach experience in San Diego.

Pros: Everything may have been a little noisy with some children running around in afternoon but quite peaceful at night.
Cons: Breakfast could have some fruit
Location: Shopping and excellent food. Can walk to most areas. Beach was good no fish bird smell
Very nice beautiful view ,just what a busy couple needed. Great room on end only peak of ocean but then no traffic in front of room.

Outstanding location, beautiful view of the Pacific, friendly staff. Our family of six stayed in a 2-bedroom suite and had plenty of room; kitchenette, fold-out sofa and full bath and additional sink/vanity worked well for us.

Close but quiet.Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: Location, staff, and room.
Cons: Free parking.
We loved this small hotel. The staff is friendly, the room we great. You can walk across the street to the beach. It's close enough to walk to all the main restaurants and shopping but far enough south to be a little more quiet and quaint. Ther parking charge is lower than most and room amenities were good. I plan to go back.
