Very close to Sea World and the Sports ArenaPosted Jan 28, 2016
Pros: Proximity to Sea World
Cons: Overpowering smell of cleaning products inside room.
Location: Not the bests neighborhood, however it's close to just about anything you could want. Restaurants, Sea World, Sports Arena and close shopping.
Everything was good except for the smell...not sure if they use lemon pledge or what, but the citrus smell was overbearing. We had to turn on the A/C and open the door to get some fresh air in to balance it out.

Terrible hotel, Wyndham? Not! I think this is honestly the worst hotel we have ever stayed in and that is saying a lot... The room had a cleaning solution odor from the moment we walk in and never went away. It was 150% humidity in the room to start and when we took a shower it was more like 500%. We had the king suit and because of this, the air conditioner only cooled/moved air in one room, not the king bedroom. The bathroom was disgusting... Mold, old, tiles moving, bathtub leaked on to the floor when you took a shower, discolored ceiling and walls, fan didn't work. Beds was hard, pillows were lumpy. Area surrounding was a dump, homeless people everywhere. I was there with my wife and 2 kids. Nothing king about this suit! DO NOT STAY HERE!

Wyndham Garden San Diego Near SeaWorldPosted Jan 18, 2016
Cons: Eliminate $10.00 per day parking fee.
Location: A nice hotel located two miles from Seaworld, four miles from SD airport, and ten minutes from Old Town SD.
A nice hotel located two miles from Seaworld, four miles from SD airport, and ten minutes from Old Town SD. 300 + guest rooms immersed with palm trees providing easy access to the outdoor heated pool & hot tub. It's also Pet-friendly for a $25.00 fee. Dupar's Restaurant & Bakery located on-site is open 24 hours a day which is very convenient. They also have a very nice sports bar providing beer, cocktails, and wine. The gift shop is great for providing snacks, cold drinks, souvenirs and more while the concierge can assist with activity planning and/or dinner reservations. There is a 24 hour Business Center with free wi-fi. Guest Laundry facility. Also a nice Fitness center on-site. Shuttle transpo to/from SD Int'l Airport for a fee. Nice clean rooms with comfortable bedding. Some rooms provide kitchenette, sofa and queen size Murphy beds or bunk beds for the kids. Upgrade to a Junior suite equipped with a separate living room and two flat panel televisions. Listed as a 3 Star but I would say more like a 4 Star. Very nice helpful staff. Hotel is also within walking distance of numerous restaurants, shops and stores for your convenience. I stayed in Room #174 which was quite and close to the restaurant and pool. I would definately recommend this hotel as it had a very reasonable price.

Near restaurants and freewayPosted Jan 17, 2016
The room was clean but rather noisy. It is convienently located and staff was friendly, attentive and accessible. The carpet and linens have seen better days, a bit overpriced for the level of comfort.

Good locationPosted Jan 6, 2016
Was a nice enough hotel although experience was ruined by a very rude hotel staff member and by the cleaning trolley going up and down excessively from 8am-11am. If you want to sleep in past 8am do not stay here!!
