Great view

Stayed at the hotel for my sons graduation. I like the fact that it was close to MCRD. Great view of the bay.

Gute Lage mit Seeblick in erster Reihe

Posted Feb 3, 2016
Parken 26$. Lieber die Parkuhren gegenüber nutzen. Seeeeehr langsames WLAN. Z.T. 5 min zum Seitenaufbau. Zum Arbeiten nicht nutzbar. Midway Flugzeugträger und Museumsschiffe in direkter Nähe.

Wyndham San Diego Bayside Hotel Stay

Posted Feb 2, 2016
Pros: The rooms were very nice, clean, and well kept. Free Wi-Fi and a nice tv with several channels and great views!
Location: Whale watching boat tours within a block of the hotel, a maritime museum across from the hotel, several parks and piers, Balboa park, Zoo, beaches.
The hotel was very well kept and up to date. The view of the bay was great and within walking distance of several dining options and attractions. One of the elevators had stopped working while we were there, but there were other elevators available for use. The broken elevator was very quickly fixed, though, and did not cause any problems afterwards. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and great customer service. Housekeeping was excellent and done daily. We always had fresh, clean towels and bedding. The hotel was perfectly located near expressways, major attractions like the Zoo and Sea World, various beaches, and public transit systems. We opted to use a rental car, but the Public busses, taxes, and trollies are readily available and the hotel has a free shuttle bus to and from the airport for anyone that chooses to use the public transit system instead of using a rental car. We were very happy with our stay!

Nice hotel, easy transit access

Posted Feb 2, 2016
Just came back from 3 nights stay at the Wydham. Hotel was very clean, nice facilities with a good room. We had an upgrade to water view on the 9th floor for my wife's birthday. It was about an 8 block walk to the start of the Gaslamp area, 3 blocks to Little Italy and 1 block to the transit station to take the train to Old Town or the Mall. The only negative was the proximity to the flight path of the airport. A lot of engine noise 6.30-7.30am each morning but we usually still got back to sleep okay.

Enjoyed our staying at Wyndham

Posted Feb 1, 2016
Pros: Eddie at valet parking, cleanliness, view and wifi
Cons: Add some vegan options to the menu and reduce the prices $5 for a bottle of water is not acceptable. It would be nice to add a microwave.
Location: For vegans: Cafe Gratitude is amazing, at 5-7 min drive Convention center at 10 min drive
Pleasant stay at Wyndham. Positive note: great view, clean room, good beds and decent size bathroom. Valet parking is very useful and Eddie was very helpful and added a cheerful note to our stay there. No matter what we do we touch people, Eddie makes a difference. The hotel staff is ok, neutral type. In-room meals are mainly for meat eaters and prices are on the high end ($5 for a bottle of water, even at the airport you're not charged that much). Tower two wifi is great, i was able to work with no issues. Overall, it is an ok by the water hotel and you are close to downtown San Diego Little Italy and gaslamp.

Nice location, good value for the money

Nice location . Great sandwich shop only steps away as well as a Ruth Chris steakhouse. Clean, a little dated but based on price and location a great value. As a bonus every room has a small deck.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing view

This hotel was very comfortable and modern in a beautiful location right on San Diego's waterfront. The only downside is that the room did not include breakfast and the options for food were very pricey.

Nice bayside view with little over payment.

Posted Jan 27, 2016
Pros: Location and View
Cons: Better facilities and inner resturant
Location: sightseeing around downtown San Diego and Bayside
Quite fair stay for the bayview if you have a valuable guest.

Good location nice sized rooms. Bed very comfortable, clean rooms, and airport shuttle. No fridge and staff not very outgoing.
