Great ExperiencePosted Oct 8, 2015
Pros: Clean, close to everything we wanted to do, great staff. The deli associated with the hotel was nice for breakfast and lunch.
Location: Close to Little Italy, the Gaslamp Quarter, Sea Port Village (cute place to see), Amtrak and the trolley. Great location.
The staff at this hotel are super friendly and helpful. Every encounter we had with the staff was pleasant.

Location!Posted Oct 6, 2015
Pros: Location, location, location....
Cons: Wifi in the room
Location: USS midway, seaport village, fisherman market, museum, ferry boat to cross, convention centre, gas lamp quarter....all walking distance
Overall, it was okay as we didn't stay much in the room as we were out and about all day long. Unfortunately, the complimentary wifi is awful when you are in your room. It's okay if you go down to lobby. We were disappointed that there wasn't a mini fridge in the room but obviously survive without it... Again, room was okay... we were facing the bayside so it was FANTASTIC view.

Room right off the Elevator with Rooftop view.Posted Oct 5, 2015
Cons: That room with its location should have been way cheaper! Hotel should have a jacuzzi
Location: Seaport Village
Because of where we were put I don't think I would book on Expedia mystery hotel ever again. Clearly I think the reason you get the better deal is because they can stick you where ever they want and you have no recourse. Our room was right outside the elevator so we hear the ding of that all night long. The view our our window was a gravel roof. The staff were nice! The kiosk that has coffee and snacks was open for such a short period of time and then they refer you to the restaurant that is down the street. Our room was very clean and comfortable, but had I know that we would be put where we were I would have booked another hotel.

Perfect location for day trippingPosted Oct 5, 2015
Pros: Location, location, location. Staff is incredibly pleasant, rooms are nicely appointed and well maintained
Cons: Love the location except is very close to the airport so got a bit noisy at times. Helicopter tours buzzed harbor drive past 23:00hrs
Location: Island Prime Steak House & CoastaTerra are two great places to eat
If you're in San Diego to enjoy the USS Midway, Maritime museum a harbor cruise, great food and fascinating shopping, this stylish hotel is right in the middle of it all. Perfectly located on harbor drive, this property offers bayside views from your very own balcony. Great restaurants in Little Italy and shopping in the Gaslamp district are within walking distance or enjoy a pedicab up the hill.

Nice hotel close to the bay.Posted Oct 4, 2015
Pros: Great location, right by the bay. In between the Gas lamp area and little Italy. The cruise boats come in right in front of the hotel.
Cons: Include a fridge in the price of the hotel. The water pressure for the showers was very low at times. The pillows are terrible! Hallways were hot.
Location: Cruise ships, Gas lamp and Little Italy were within walking distance. Old boat out door exhibition across from the hotel. Many restaurants in area.
Had a city view room at the 14th floor. The room was large and nicely finished. The ceiling showed evidence of repairs that did not match the rest of the ceiling finish. There was no fridge in the room, that would have been an extra $10, but should have been included in the price. Had to pay for parking!!! Looking at other hotels in the area this is not unusual, but when you are paying $200/day they should include free parking.

VIEW ON THE BAYPosted Oct 2, 2015
Pros: Location, Location, Location
Excellent customer service the minute you walk in. It has a homie fell too it. Staff are remarkable, always smiling and courteous. View from the 9th Floor overlooking the bay was breathtaking. Walking distance to several landmarks, bars, eateries and taste of San Diego. I will be back next week on business and suggest our Company all stay here (corporate friendly).
