Great location. Good deal for the price

Posted Sep 1, 2015
Pros: Location
Location: Close to ferry, Midway Museum, Seaport Village
The location cannot be beat. Room is simple and straight forward. Balcony is a nice feature. The frosted, sliding bathroom door is a little awkward, but not a deal killer. With the non-refundable room rate the hotel is a great deal.

Great Location

Pros: Location across the street from the marina.
Cons: Nice restaurant and bar
Location: Hotel is right smack in the heart of the seaport village marina and maritime museum etc.
Perfect hotel to stay at if you plan on walking along Harbor Ave. Directly across from the Midway and Star of India. Seaport Village down the road. Great balconies but no hotel restaurant or place for a cocktail.

Close to Harbour ferries, museums and Airport

Nice and quiet well-located hotel for a bargain. No frills and clean. Comfy beds! Surprised there are no small fridges in the room to allow snacks on the balcony or keep water cold during heat wave. We improvised with the ice bucket 😉. Nice to have shuttle to the Zoo, airport and other areas so no car necessary. Cabs also reasonable due to short distance to everything.

Pros: Location
Cons: Renovation--onsite bar and restaurant
Location: close to everything; across the street from pier to catch ferry to Coronado; across from Anthony's Restaurant; walking distance to Seaside Village
Pleasant stay; facilities in process of renovation

Amazing views of the bay and close to gaslamp area

Staff were so helpful and hotel was great! Free shuttle to the airport, late checkout for free, towel service at swimming pool and room had lots of good finishing touches such as a balcony and iPod speakers. Thanks so much for an amazing trip!

Great!

Pros: I liked it! Great access to the bay.
Cons: Having a restaurant in the restaurant, and free parking for the guests. As it is now, guests are charged $26/day.
Location: It is located across the boardwalk of San Diego's bay. You can go for long walks on the boardwalk and there are great restaurants a short walk away.
Staff were friendly. No food or restaurant in the hotel. They referred their guests to a deli outside, which was expensive and the food terrible. But being so close to the water and being able to cross the street and be on the boardwalk made up for everything! Choose Bayside viewing room -- they are more expensive, but so much more worth it because the view of the water during the day is priceless.
