San Fernando, Cadiz

Great location, right in the middle of the busy street filed with restaurants and bar. You will not be bothered by the street noise. Convenient paid parking near by. Excellent breakfast.

Very good hotel

A very nice and modern hotel. Beautiful comfortable room. The AC had fixed temprature, rather cold, so it was not convenient. Breakfast was nice but nothing special.

OK hotel, difficult to access.

Posted Sep 5, 2016
It's a nice hotel, but reaching it - even with a navigation system, was difficult.

Nice hotel, but pricey

We took advantage of a weekend offer and got excellent value for money, but I would not have paid full price, especially considering breakfast is not included.

Good place for stop-over

Posted May 22, 2013 on Hotels
Modern rooms, comfortable bedrooms. It was a bit of a hassle to get to the hotel due to the very narrow one-way streets. Area around the hotel was filled with bars and restaurants with good food and friendly staff. Hotel staff was also friendly, and helpfull.

The Brooklyn of Cadiz

Lovely hotel in a nice square in San Fernando...the town is like the Brooklyn of Cadiz, a bit out of the way but a quick cab or train ride into town.

Hotel Salymar offers a warm welcome

Posted Apr 15, 2012 on Hotels
We had no idea that so many people travel during Holy Week so finding a hotel in the Cadiz area was a challenge. Hotel Salymar was a very pleasant surprise. It's a beautifully appointed hotel decorated in a contemporary and tasteful way and is situated near many great restaurants and shops. Best of all is the warm and welcoming staff. Although they don't speak a great deal of English, they went out of their way to be helpful. They offer parking around the corner but we weren't optimistic about finding it so we asked about free parking. They generously explained where we could find a free city parking lot, which was a 10 minute walk from the hotel and in a place convenient to the highway. Breakfast was generous with a nice variety of choices and served in an bright atrium style room. A very welcome perk is complimentary bottled water and fresh fruit in a bar fridge on each floor. After a day in the warm sun, a cold bottle of water is much appreciated. All in all, a great place to stay.

Campanario enfrente del hotel

Posted Oct 15, 2017
Pros: Esta muy bien situado.
Location: La ubicación es muy buena. Ofrece bastantes opciones culturales y gastronómicas alrededor.
El hotel tiene una calidad aceptable y tiene buena relación calidad precio. El problema que hemos tenido es que enfrente de las habitaciones exteriores la Iglesia da las campanadas continuamente durante el día y la noche (incluso los cuartos). Difícil dormir.
