great location near SF airport right by the Bay -

Pros: location, view, quaint
Cons: maintenance staff was nonexistent . Manager invisible during our whole trip.
Location: near the airport with shuttle service, free parking, free breakfast and nice rooms (especially those with view)
Stayed there several times before, this time we rented 2 rooms for business colleagues and 2 rooms for family. We like the smaller boutique hotel - more quaint than the Hilton nearby we also stay often. We had 1 room where the heater did not work - for all 5 days we stayed there even though we reported it a number of times. Luckily it was not too cold and they offered us to move to a different room which we did not due to our busy schedule. Staff at the front desk was trying to be helpful. Night/weekend front desk staff was unfriendly. Breakfast was ok but most items were gone halfway through breakfast time so when we arrived around 8:30 the hot items were not available.

Our luggage stolen from our room

We was in Bay Landing Hotel november 2. - november 7. and we are deeply outraged due to the hotel support. November 7. morning I indicated that our baggage disappeared from our room (303). On the front office, the colleague said, she is not competent, I can discuss only with the manager, but the manager is busy (She said the manager talking on the phone). That morning started our airplane, so I had only 20 minutes (We noticed a theft during the packaging) before started the shuttle, and in this time the manager was continuously busy. The front office colleauge promised, the manager will write me email as soon as possible how would be compensated this situation, and she wrote my email adresse, but I didn’t get email from Hotel, or from manager. I’m deeply outraged, because in hotel robbed me (In the baggage was all gifts, what we purchased), and the staff did nothing, she did not want write a riport, the manager was unattainable, and now the hotel act as if nothing had happened (In the hotel lobby was camera recording, so the situation is verifiable). The baggage was lost: - brown shopbag with a following content: - brand new Ipad Mini 128GB (499 USD) - brand new Gopro hero 5 Base (399 USD) - some T-shirts ( about 60 USD) - some fridge magnet ( about 20 USD) - 2 mug ( about 27 USD) I tried every way to contact with the manager, but do not react anything.

near Bay

Pros: It was close to my daughter's house in Burlingame.
Cons: Better towels
Our hotel overlooked the Bay but our room overlooked the parking lot. Somehow I expected a pool. When I went back it did not say they had a pool, so my mistake.. I would have liked larger towels.

Pros: Expedia recommended
Cons: IT was perfect. I would stay again in a heartbeat!
Location: El Torito mexican cuisine is literally next door.
It was very clean and always smelled great. The breakfast buffet was incredible too!

Hotel on the Bay

Pros: Proximity to the airport. Large rooms. Breakfast.
Cons: Firmer mattresses.
Location: Airport. Silicon Valley.
Older property but nicely maintained. Very pleasant check-in. Room was large and in great condition. The mattress was soft, a firmer mattress would have helped. The full breakfast in the morning, with the opportunity to sit on the patio overlooking the bay makes the stay worthwhile. The hotel is very close to the airport, making my return journey hassle-free. Would stay here again.

Good view

Our room's shower head was not working, there was no water at all. The heater/ ac wasn't working. When we notified the front desk they told us that they had another room then we were waiting for half an hour for them to give us the key cards so we can finally relax after a very long day of travel but then they told us that they couldn't give us that room either but then they gave us a very good room so that made up for it. However, my husband was sick and we wanted them to change the sheets the second they which they already do every third day we just wanted them to do the second day instead because my husband was getting over flu. The receptionist was very shocked, she was kinda rude asked us if it was gonna be like that every day in a rude manner we told her no just for today and explained the situation. When we got on the road we remembered that my husband forgot his wedding ring on the sink and we called the hotel and told them to keep it safe for us so it doesn't fall into the sink. When we came back the receptionist had no idea what i was talking about and the other receptionist kept asking if we wanted to check out. Then the manager appeared and told us that they didn't go into the room and clean anything at all. Because he said the cleaning lady was afraid something would get lost. How can anything get lost if you don't get it lost. Just dont touch our personal stuff which is common sense and take the ring give it to a manager. it was disappointing

Good hotel close to airport and major interstate

Good place to stay if you have early flight out the next day or want a less expensive hotel in the SF area but still within close by to the City.
