Close to where were working during the day

Pros: Room was big and clean.
Cons: breakfast was sparse
Clean, big, comfortable room with lots of amenities.

Marginal. Nothing special.

Very noisy bath fan. Inadequate bath linens, even after requesting enough to cover number of guests. Inadequate breakfast dining area.

Decent hotel, biased management

The hotel is ok, the staff does an overall good job. One highlight was a great, free buffet breakfast included in the room rate. However, attention to detail is slightly lacking. On the first day, I found the previous tenant's towel hanging in the bathroom, and on the next, the staff forgot to replenish shampoo. Additionally, I have a huge complain regarding the hotel management imposing their political views on the guests. When I came downstairs on the first day, the TV was showing Fox News. I asked to change the channel, since I was the only customer at 6am, and was allowed to do so by the front desk person, but the manager passing by jumped all over both of us and forced us to change it back to Fox News. Apparently, it's the owners' policy to show "channel 2" in all circumstances (note: this is an independently operated franchise). Note to the owners: if you don't like liberal news and want to set a policy, fine, don't show MSNBC or CNN, but don't force us to watch FOX either. There's still CBS, NBC, etc, or even show Bloomberg for a more finance- and facts-oriented take. We are not paying you to educate us in your political views. I avoided the breakfast area after this, went to another hotel to extend my stay, and will not be coming back in the future.

Hotel for interview at Stanford orthopedics

Easy check in. Clean room. Door opens to outside but no issues with noise. Plenty of towels. Affordable. Close to a gas station and liquor store which was convenient. Parking right on site was free. Fast, free wifi.

Everything was as expected. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious, had good amount of furniture and was clean. Parking spaces were easy to find. Overall a good experience.

Tired Motel Mis-advertised as Executive Hotel

Stayed for 5 days for a work assignment. Property appears to be an older motel that Best Western refurbed years ago and slapped their name on. It's below their brand standard and certainly not what you'd envision for "Executive Suites". Very nice staff but the place is really tired and noisy on the corner of two very busy streets. First room I got clearly smelled of smoke and backed up to the Jack in the Box parking lot - very noisy. I had to move to a different room which was much better and which the staff were accommodating about. Fitness room was a joke. Breakfast was good but very small eating area. Rained for 4 days while I was there. All staircases are exterior - again more like a motel than a hotel - so every time you had to go somewhere you got wet. Area was somewhat sketchy - most patrons wouldn't feel safe straying from hotel very far.

Decent hotel close to Stanford Hospital

Second stay here as I travel far for my appointments at Stanford hospital. I checked in as normal, to find out I was given a room and a room key that was already occupied. It was pretty shocking from both sides when I attempted to open the door. I was upgraded to a two room suite for the inconvenience. I felt that was pretty thoughtful of them. I was pretty excited to use the jet stream tub, to my surprise of brown bubbles from the jet stream being formed while soaking. I'm quite positive it was not from me. A little sad I didn't get to have a relaxing soak, but made sure I had a thorough and long shower. Had a few mishaps, but I'd still come back. Good staff and the breakfast is always a win.

Thank you so much for staying at the Best Western Executive Suites while going to Stanford. I am very sorry about the person given the wrong key. The system at the hotel went down. We are very sorry about that. Then to make things worse for you, the hot tub gave out brown water, We have fixed the problem as our water heater went out and we had shut off the water.
