Redwood Room - Legend says that California redwood covering the walls in this one-of-a-kind bar came from a single tree. The 30-foot ceilings, ever-changing digital art displayed on plasma-screen TVs, subdued lighting, and leather and velvet furnishings make the Redwood a popular watering hole for celebrities and local trendsetters. Appetizers and dinner are offered from late afternoon to late evening.

Clift San Francisco is a half-mile from Yerba Buena Gardens, with its outdoor playground, ice-skating rink, and bowling alley, and one mile from the Embarcadero, a waterfront walkway. The hotel is central to all major tourist attractions, and many guests ride across the Golden Gate Bridge to the neighboring town of Sausalito.
