Pros: Location and good place to sleep and clean up.
Was happy with the hotel. Doing vacation stuff. Hotel was good for sleep and mainly close by things . Breakfast was good to get you started in the morning. But the last day that I was there the eggs were cold.

Pros: The view, cost and location.
Cons: Elevator service and mattresses.
Location: Marina area...close to everything.
The best thing about this hotel is the price for the location. It's a slightly dated, middle of the road hotel, mostly European tourists and families. There are too few elevators for the number of people in the hotel, and the mattresses on the beds need replacement, but it is otherwise perfectly fine. I stayed with my two teenaged boys, and it is a perfect family hotel. Few amenities, the service is okay but not stellar. It was clean, and our room had an excellent view. I would stay here again.

We had a problem they could only find one room for me and when I tell them about it the lady at the front desk was very bad all she kept saying so I only see one you have to call Expedia and they have to verify after she call she wasn't helpful she kept saying it only says one room to which I said it shows on my reservation two and they told yes I reserve two why can't you give my room she said no because it wasn't on her computer and then to make things worse she said I'm not giving you a room on the same floor and you're not getting a refrigerator and kept saying you're not staying in the same floor very unprofessional not even the courtesy to offer nothing fre for the trouble they still charge me 52 for the parking never staying there again

Pros: location, view.
Cons: no hot water for our shower. very lukewarm. Need to improve that.
Location: everything is close by or easily gotten to by hop-on/hop-off or Uber.
nice staff, very accommodating. Hotel was reasonably clean and neat. Some leftover trash in trash can in room, lack of hot water on the 11th floor (shower) left me a little disappointed though.

Pros: Walking distance to fisherman's wharf
Cons: Front desk staff need an attitude adjustment and the hotel needs to return phone calls and emails.
My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights. The front desk staff were rude, unhelpful and just pain grumpy. Not the kind of service you expect for the money you pay to stay here. The room wifi is extremely poor to point of being almost non existent, it does work in the Lobby though. The room was ok, the city view was of the building next door only. Bed was hard as a rock and the pillows were paper thin. Breakfast was limited options and you have to fight to get a table to sit at. BEWARE of this hotel as my credit card had charges put on it after we checked out when we were told there was nothing left to pay. Trying to get in contact with this hotel is almost impossible to get a resolution. I will never stay here again, and will be telling all my family and friends not to stay here either.

Situated in good location, but rather pricey for a comfort inn. Would have been fine but for the large roach in the bathroom that we found. Reported to the front desk and the response was "we dont get bugs on the 11th floor." Inadequate response - they should have given us something instead of ignoring the customer. Good breakfast buffet.

Walkable distance to Warf area.

Pros: Location, friendly staff, facility was clean and quiet.
Location: 20 min walk to warf area (downhill), 40 minute walk to Chinatown, steep walk up hill to scenic Lombard street.
Staff were very nice and quite helpful. Only 2 staff at the desk so very busy for their 4 PM check in time. Breakfasts were OK for hotel style complimentary breakfast.

Great location with fab view of Golden Gate bridge

We had stayed at this hotel 17 years ago and liked the location, so booked again this time. The hotel has a brilliant location, 2 blocks from Lombard Street (wiggly bit) and an easy walk to Ghiradelli Square and Fishermans Wharf. The view of Golden Gate Bridge was fantastic from our room too. The negatives would be that the staff on the desk are not very helpful and upon check in were bordering on being rude, as in the middle of talking they walked away and began another conversation with someone else! The ice machine and drinks dispenser didn't work on our floor for the whole 4 days but our biggest gripe is with the wifi- it was useless, you'd get 5 mins if lucky! We complained several times, but were told to call their internet provider ourselves! Despite this we had a great time.
