Great Pice and Location

Posted Feb 20, 2017
The hotel is in a great central location of the city and is a great value. It's also one of the few hotels that doesn't charge a $30-$40 parking fee, although parking is limited.

very good experience

Posted Feb 20, 2017
The mattress was firm. The room was clean. The wifi worked very well. The temperature in the room was perfect. The only negative was that the picture on the flat-screen TV was a little distorted. In the brief interactions with the staff, the staff members were pleasant and professional.

Good location, good neighborhood. We would stay again. Price is right. Hope they don't raise the price.

OK hotel very near SF Civic Center

Posted Jan 24, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: It's somewhat dated, but if you are in San Francisco, you're probably not going to sit around in your hotel room for very long.
Location: Civic Center venues, including Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, and many restaurants.
This is an acceptable hotel whose main attraction is that it is within easy walking distance of all the San Francisco Civic Center venues - symphony, opera, city hall, library, and many good restaurants. Also near the Civic Center BART station for excursions further abroad.

Nice stay, away from the hub-bub

Posted Nov 17, 2016 on Hotels
Comfortable and clean, and away from the hub-bub of typical hotel neighborhoods. Plus, the Hayes Valley is surprisingly trendy and hopping, especially compared to the Civic Center plaza area, also nearby. Fun if you like wine bars. Everything in San Francisco is pricey, but this was a nice stay.

Remodeled and Fabulous!!!

Posted Oct 23, 2016 on Hotels
The person who checked us in was very helpful and friendly. I was really surprised that the Days Inn has been painted, and the rooms are all remodeled, and modern. New beds, and pillows, carpet, everything. This location is very safe, and free parking, continental breakfast, and paper.

Pros: Convenient
Cons: The faucet in my room's bathtub came off so I couldn't take my shower.
The hotel is very convenient to the opera house. It's clean and comfortable

A let down

Posted Oct 12, 2016 on Hotels
The service from the woman working the front desk was AWFUL. She was not helpful at all and was actually quite rude. We seemed to be a bother to her. Also, it is right across from a bar/club so be prepared for a lot of noise at night. Breakfast room was unbelievably tiny so people had to wait outside to get food. Yes it's in the center of town but for the price you can do much better.
