Worst room ever!Posted May 22, 2015 on Hotels
This Hotel was next to the train tracks. A train went by frequently. We had to replace the towels because they had holes in them and had been used to wipe up the floors. This was disgusting. I had to hook up the TV. Wires dangling from Wall. No phone in the room. No way to reach the front desk. This room wasn't ready to stay in. I want my money back. I have never given a review this bad. And you guys referred me to this motel.

Inexpensive but...Posted Apr 30, 2015
Pros: The price
Cons: The name...it is NOT Deluxe.
Location: Location is off the main road, a bit hard to find
You are greeted at checkin by a locked door you have to buzz to get in. The cashier is behind a glass window. The outside appearance is tired and unfinished? Are they upgrading and painting or not? The doors to the room were modern but inside it was tired and frumpy. It was a place to sleep at a decent price.

Do not judge a book by its coverPosted Dec 24, 2014
Pros: How clean my room was.
Cons: fix the TV. upgrade to flat or at lease TV with out picture issues.
Location: Downtown Redwood city, close to the San Carlos border.
I picked this hotel because it was in my budget for an impromptu trip to the bay area. When I first arrived I was very put off. The office was scary, as well as the parking lot. I arrived late and it was dark. BUT... The staff was nice and THE ROOM WAS BEAUTIFUL. It was very apparent they are fixing up this tiny motel. The bed was NEW and very comfortable. The carpet was NEW. the walls were clean and the crown molding was a nice touch. As I myself am a manager of a hotel I was really surprised once I opened the room door. My only suggestion to the property owner...with all your upgrades a better TV would put you over the top. My TV has a pink hue.

Dump, dirtyPosted Dec 13, 2014
I made a reservation online. I asked to see the room before I checked in. I'm glad I did. The room wreaked of smoke. Dirty mattresses outside. This place is a dump. I did not stay.

Good if you are on a budgetPosted Oct 25, 2014
Reasonably clean and cheap. Good wireless connection, parking not a problem. Can leave your alarm clock at home - the trains will wake you up. Overall ok.
