Overall I enjoyed my stay. I ended up booking 2 rooms, and they were pretty different. The first room had a broken keurig, and the room design (walls mostly) felt a little outdated but the beds weren’t bad. The second room felt more modern but pretty small, and the body wash container was not refilled before I got there so I ended up washing with my shampoo. 😅 the staff were very friendly. The hotel was clean, if not generally a bit outdated feeling, and there’s only one elevator that is very slow.

Staff was really friendly. Parking is about a block away. Breakfast was only toast, cereal and egg. Hotel itself was wonderful. Comfortable beds.

Staff made our stay the most excellent! They were so kind and helpful, greeted us everyday. The location is close to cable car transportation (even though the cable car was down alnost the entire week we were there) and a short walk to city metro buses. Conveniently a short distance away from many eateries, the mall, and just three minutes to Chinatown! Comfortable and clean room. Breakfast was always hot. Would have liked a bit more variety, but that's preference. Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is a favorite in San Francisco. The breakfast is nice. The gym is decent. There is a nice bar located around the corner that serves food. The staff is pleasant and helpful your guides. The downside and almost dealbreaker for me is parking. It’s located up the hill around the corner down the hill mid block. There is an entrance directly across the street through the alley that closes early and opens late. If you have an early weekend flight and your car is in the garage you might miss it. The garage opens at 6am. They neglected to inform me and I missed a flight. I haven’t booked here since. If you can see pass the parking it’s an amazing hotel the ambiance is vintage and beautiful

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our west coast trip. The hotel staff at the front desk were nice and allowed us to check in early. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The building itself is very neat, is historic but was renovated. The breakfast was nice, I would say a step above continental, with eggs, toast, muffins, juice, and cereal. The area was really nice for walking around. It is about a 15 minute walk from the shopping area of Union Square and right near Chinatown. Unfortunately there were two areas of disappointment in the hotel for us. There was a problem with the boiler the first day of our stay and was never fixed while we were there. This resulted in cold showers and no hot water in the room. Secondly, the house keeping was on an odd schedule. We hadn’t seen them for the first 3 days but on our last day, a Saturday, they knocked on our door once at 8:30am and again at 10:30am when check out was at noon. The room was not cleaned while we were there. Overall it was an ok stay, comfortable for a night or two.

We apologize for this incident that affected the entire hotel. It was worked on as quickly as possible, but it did take time to get someone to our property to fix the issue.Since your reservation was done through a 3rd party, it will take a bit of time for us to process any type of compensation. The room and facilities were of average quality, not as good as I expected for the price. However, the main issue was that my partner stepped on a loose carpet nail in the room. It broke the skin, but did not penetrate into her foot to a level that would require stitches. When we told the front desk about it in the morning and gave them the nail, they were far more defensive instead apologetic, and not helpful aside from asking if medical assistance was required. When we asked about a discount due to the injury, which could have been much greater, they merely stated that they would investigate the issue and get back to us, even though we brought them the nail and showed them a picture of her foot and the small amount of blood from the wound. No discount was given nor any follow up from the investigation, if there was one. We both felt like they were more suspicious of us trying to pull a trick on them than concerned about our experience, satisfaction or safety.

Vincent was amazing (he worked the front desk)— he's the reason our first impression was so great at the Executive Hotel Vintage Court. A great budget friendly stay
It was wonderful stay in a budget friendly hotel. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms were clean. It has an old cabin smell and only one slow elevator, but the staff are friendly and it is a wonderful location. I would recommend the hotel.

I booked the hotel for 1 night, and was very satisfied. Walkable area, very close to China Town, Union Square, and Cable car, etc Room is clean and cozy. One of a few hotels on the street has served free breakfast, and that's great! Parking is 2 blocks away $44 overnight.

The vintage hotel was a night place overall. The lobby had flavored water every day, the facilities were clean, and the staff were friendly. There is no parking with the hotel, you have to choose a parking garage a block away, which can be challenging. I had rented a car because I was there on business, and it cost $45 a day. The hotel staff told us the parking garage was open 24/7; however, when we left on Saturday, we were shocked to find it closed. The hours were posted, but we hadn't noticed the limited hours on the weekend. It all worked out, but use Uber/Lyft, parking is so expensive. But travel and enjoy the sights!
