Disappointing amenities & service for luxury hotel

The check-in process was smooth but the room had a lot of dead space and "funny" angles to it, no doubt due to the old nature of an historical building - which is forgiveable. But what is less impressive and downright poor is the lack of complimentary bottled water in the room. At a luxury hotel level I expect at least one bottle of water to be complimentary everyday, but there was none offered. Not even with turn down service. Also, there is no robe in the room either which is very strange for a luxury property. The hotel management goes out of their way to highlight how environmentally conscious they are but in order to use the shower you ALSO need to have the bathtub tap running!
