The perfect SF hotel!

I cannot recommend this hotel more strongly! Amazing location right in Union Square, very nice updated room with comfortable linens, and perhaps the best service I have ever received from hotel staff. Very nice staff that go out of their way to help you with anything you might need! Also, it was crazy cheap compared to other SF hotels! You really can't go wrong here.

Hidden gem in the Union Square

Pros: Location, privacy, the decor, the bathroom, comfortable bed, plus the free wifi, free wine and free coffee, and many of the great staff members.
Cons: Stop stocking stuff in the room fridge that are priced so high. I get that you are charging for the convenience. We found it annoying and stressful.
Location: We found plenty of public parking garages as well as the valet provided by the hotel. There are many things to do around the hotel.
ARRIVAL - We arrived at the hotel in the evening and were not going out, so we parked our car in one of the many public garages nearby and walked with our luggage. CHECK-IN was great because the front desk person was both professional and friendly. This hotel was designed guest friendly. The elevator is right across the lobby from the front desk. The floor and the room we stayed in were very quiet even though the hotel was located in a very busy and fun part of the town. THE ROOM - We loved watching NHK HD on the flat screen TV. We couldn't use the room refrigerator because it was already packed with the airplane service stuff. There was no microwave either. The bathroom was modern and practical. We especially liked the lighted mirror mounted above the sink. THE BED - We loved it. FREE WIFI - We loved how it was free and actually worked well. ROOFTOP PARK - We enjoyed walking the trail on the roof. It was private and nicely kept. FREE COFFEE - Very good coffee was provided starting at 5:00 AM. What a way to start a day! FREE WINE - They started serving free wine at 5:30 PM in the lobby. What a way to come back to the hotel and unwind. They know how to treat their guests! We will definitely consider coming back to this hotel. Thank you for taking a big part in our amazing trip. We couldn't have done it without your generous hospitality, Galleria Park Hotel!!!

Friendly hotel close to Union Plaza

Pros: The location close to BART and Union Plaza was very good. We also enjoyed the free coffee in the morning and the free wine in the evening.
This hotel was a nice place to stay in SF over the holidays while visiting family.

Not a good choice

The overall experience was not upto the mark. The hotel is totally different as appears in picture. The only good thing about it is that it's in down town and the staff is good. But the stay was not at all comfortable. Rooms are extremely small. Even the executive rooms are not upto the mark. I will suggest you to keep this hotel as your last preference

Stayed here for four nights

Had an overall pleasant stay. I wish my room was more spacious, though. Checking in was a bit challenging because of the Expedia mystery hotel booking. When I went to check in, I didn't have have a reservation under my name but they trusted I had paid already so I only had to pay for incidentals. I liked the location of the hotel and how the business center was open 24/7. I do wish we had more free amenities e.g. Chocolate or water. The staff there were amazing and are the friendliest hotel staff in SF.

The staff at this hotel are friendly,courteous,polite and welcoming. I have stayed at many hotels in the union sqaure area (on multiple occasions). This particular hotel seems to have excellent customer service training. I was there for five days,and every single encounter with staff members was truly impressive. Front desk staff, concierge, security, house keeping, doormen etc. I wish I could remember everyone's names, but I interacted with so many staff members. All went above and beyond. My check in and check out process went very smoothly thanks to a very competent and professional young lady. I wish I could remember her name. The rooms are simple,but comfortable & clean. There is complimentary coffee&tea in the mornings and a small evening wine reception. I would definitely stay at this hotel again,because of the amazing customer service I received.

Pros: Convenient.
Cons: Add ramp to entrance for easier luggage up stairs instead of clunking each step.
Location: Union Square, Chinatown, Financial District.
Easy check in. Small hotel. Clean. Quiet. FORCED TO WRITE MORE: Close to BART and UNION SQUARE for easy access to other major sites for sightseeing tours, photo ops.

Nice boutique hotel.

Very friendly staff. The hotel lobby is quaint with a gorgeous fireplace, and has the feel of a small ski resort. The location is ideal for transacting business in the Financial District, as it is in walking distance of most major financial destinations, as well as the Department of Insurance. Although there is no restaurant in the hotel, there is complementary coffee, and several excellent cafes within walking distance...one of them literally right next door. The rooms are a bit small, but that's to be expected for a Boutique hotel.
