We we not even sure we had gotten the right room. The beds were not queen size like in the reservation. 1 made a terrible amount of noise when you moved around on it. The cleanliness was questionable. The pool had very limited hours but looked clean. Overall a NO frills place.
A very nice hotel for the price.
I would book again every time. It was quiet. Clean linen. I got a nice sized room with balcony, there was a nice pool and a bench complete with bhuda statue. Hotel owner was very helpful with booking and checkin times and went the extra mile helping with my late check in. Very nice well kept hotel. I encountered not a single issue or anything seedy. A genuinely nice budget hotel that i hope stays around, even with a change in ownership. Would have loved to see the sports bar up and running. :)

the property was discosting with squocky bed and cocroches in the room and no wakeup call or front desk after 8 pm till 10 am
no breakfast and no AC
stuff eas stolen from my car in the parking lot but they told me thair are not responsible
the shower was dirty
bathrooms ware not sanitysed
bed was making squicky noises and was super unconfirtible
staff ware rude and unprofessional
the roof looked like it had a leak at some point but nobody cared to fix it
no dining or room service was provided

Wow, these guys are something else. If I could give negative
stars I would! Service and attitude was so bad it turned comical!
Almost straight out of a bad sitcom! We were about 130 miles from the
location when some lady named Stephanie called and said if we don't
get there by 8pm our hotel room would expire and we wouldn't get our
money back. First off, there was nowhere on the expedia website that
stated this under the hotel description. If we knew we would have made
sure to get there sooner. This Steph lady was rude and unnecessarily
combative. We decided to stop and stay somewhere else that night but
arrived at the hotel the next day. Once there we found out Stephanie
wasn't even the manager as she had lied she was. I also purchased
breakfast with the room and get this...yall ready? She said there's a
coffee maker in your room and here's a packet of oatmeal! Lord I can't
make this up! We stayed the second night because we were too tired to
find another hotel but please please please stay away from this place!
I don't even know how it's still in business! I have to now request a
refund from my credit card company. I don't understand how this type of fraud businesses verified by expedia and offering to people.

Hello my name is Lisa, I am the manager of this hotel. I completely understand your frustrations. I would love to give you answers to a lot of your complaints. I am more than happy to show you where on Expedia it says that we close at 8:00 and I also wanted to address the breakfast. Due to covid we had to stop our normal breakfast but still wanted to give the option of our guests to have something available to them which is the coffee tea and oatmeal. I 100% Do not find it ok for any of my staff to treat anyone like that and for that I genuinely apologize for any negative effect that person had on your stay. I also do not want you to have to go through all of that to get a refund. If you give me your name I will find your information and would be happy to give you a full refund. Again I am so very sorry for your experience with us, I do not tolerate any of that behavior from anyone that works here and that will be dealt with separately.
Their Wi-Fi signal didn't reach the room, it was only available around the front desk area.
Tried to call the front desk from the room several times and they never pick up.
No AC in the room.
I've been staying here for almost a year and it's perfect for my needs. Let me make this clear for the price don't expect too much out of this place. Beds are comfortable and house keeping is done daily but there's no a/c. They do provide a plug in fan & heater. Everything works its just an old place you still get a regular standard key to open room. Room comes with tv microwave mini fridge and a coffee maker. Rooms are pretty standard and convenient but if you're looking for something modern and up to date, luxury this is definitely not your choice!

Best front desk employee’s we’ve come acrossso far
Mia & Krista both front desk are amazing! They will accommodate anyway they can. Always with a smile! Place it’s self is older but for the price it’s just what ya need! Fridge & microwave in your room as well with no extra charge nor do you pay for parking or WiFi!
Based on the low price for the area and the run-down exterior, I was expecting a dirty, broken room; however, I was very surprised how clean the room was. Fairly new carpet, clean walls and floors, decent bathroom and shower, working fridge and microwave.
Cleaning is impeccable and everyone is nice. In the process of getting better. Easy to find and close to many stores and restaurants. The beds a little uncomfortable but the rooms are huge and has all the amenities you need when staying in a hotel

Horrible hotel. Not heated, you better bring your own heater. If you are on the first floor holes in bathroom windows will make you visible from outside especially in the evening, and you cannot completely close them!!

The room was very cheap and I can see why... very ghetto looking, inside and outside, the bathtub was peeling off they definitely need to be remodeled, I wouldn’t stay there again

The staff was excellent. But there were too many little things that got in the way, and I shouldn't have to deal with. The key didn't work, and got stuck in the door. The bathroom was DIRTY. Mold in the shower, something was leaking on the bathroom floor, and made it very slippery.
I will not go back.

Motel was located next door to Enterprise car rental which was very convenient. For the price, it was good value - easy parking, located near several shopping centers and restaraunts.

Very nice resort style hotel for the price with swimming pool. Rooms were nice and clean with comfortable bed. Parking is right in front of the room. I didn't notice any noise from outside or room next door. I will go back at my next visit.

Check in was easy, all the staff members I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The room was clean & perfect for our need of a budget friendly hotel. Loved the mini fridge & freezer! The 'breakfast included' was one of the reasons I chose this place over others however it was dissapointing (instant oatmeal & fresh fruit). Because there is no A/C in room, I wouldn't choose in the hotter summer months, but was not a problem for our March trip. If I were to ever go back to San Mateo (which I doubt will happen), I would consider this hotel again!

I mean aside from the lack of a security door latch this hotel was pretty much better than any bargain hotel you could ask for. Great location, each room had a back porch. Great overall.
