The staff was wonderful. Our plane was delayed and we didn't get to the hotel until after 11pm. Check-in was easy and we got warm cookies, even at that hour! When our Uber arrived to take us to the rental car facility the next day, it was too small for all of our luggage. The front desk was happy to hold our larger suitcases until we could return to pick them up.

There was a shuttle but of course I had to stand in the cold for a long time. They don’t run often. They were busy talking and counting cookies so no greeting or anything. I had just flown 19 hours and was in airports 9 hours so I was tired. Being acknowledged would have been nice. Had to call about the heater. Food is expensive. Etc

The AC is my room didn’t work, it had to be controlled manually and they knew it but acted like it could be controlled. I had to called an engineer in the middle of the night to come and remove the cover and turn it heat up. It was freezing. Don’t put a coverage and set up a sign for guests that A needs to be controlled manually. Or just buy a new AC. The rest was okay…

The good: The room was nice. The bathroom was very roomy. The staff was very helpful. The shower has great shower pressure! and of course the cookies is great every time. The not so good: The shower door always had water leaking outside, hence the wet floors after a shower. The toilet seat was not on properly, it moved around. Overall, I would recommend this place and will stay again.

The property is run down. But the room was clean and bed comfortable. Airport shuttle was 15 minutes late and only ran once an hour in the evening. Not sure I would stay here again but it was fine for short night

It was clean, but the bus schedule is God awful. I am going to save money at next year's conference booking closer. We originally booked because of the shuttle bus. They stopped doing buses 10 mins before we got to the airport on a cold rainy night after an Alcatraz tour. We waited 30 mins for a bus that never came. We had to pay $50 for an Uber and me and my dad caught a terrible cold from having to stand in the cold rain. Not to mention we also took a shuttle to the airport and the man driving apparently was late for his second job. He was about to dump us all at some random hotel. He said he would take us to the airport if we tipped him. Then the train was having issues so we ended up paying another $50 for Uber. If I could do it all over knowing what I know now, I would have never booked this hotel. The only reason it gets 3 stars is because the receptionist let me have a free hot cocoa while I was sick and shivering and he actually seemed to care.

I really love this Double Tree hotel near SFO airport! Room is clean and modern. Free shuttle to airport every 45 minutes. The on-site restaurant/bar open until 10 pm with good quality dinner and service. Very convenient. The parking is easy and safe. 19USD parking fee is reasonable in San Francisco area. Hotel is very close to rental car return to place. Generally speaking, I am very satisfied with the stay!
