OK HotelPosted Aug 23, 2015
Pros: Hotel Rooms are spacious.
Cons: If fire code allows, door to washroom is better swung in instead out. Basin area and closet are better if switch sides.
Location: You can have a short walk along the bay shore line..
Lunch Room relatively is insufficient space to cover customers. I have difficulty in driving to airport rental car area from there, plus find nearby gas station for fill up. In 4th floors by elevator, garbage bin was smelly whole day. I should have talked to the staff but forgotten.

Great value on the south side of San FranPosted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: Free Parking. Free breakfast.
Cons: The toilet was sluggish & needed to be unclogged as soon as we arrived. The shower head hose was splitting open in 2 spots & will need to be replaced
Location: Walking path nearby. Hills behind hotel begged to be hiked. You'll need a car or other transportation arrangements to go places from here.
From the moment we arrived, after having stayed at Fisherman's Wharf, I noticed how much quieter the area was. The lobby was inviting with fresh coffee, tea and hot chocolate always waiting. The front desk attendant was sweet and helpful. The room was clean and the set up was perfect for our needs. I chose a king with a pull out sofa suite. Which was perfect for our needs. I stayed with my two daughters. We felt safe and it was reasonably quiet. The view was of the roof top so you may want to ask for a room at the end near the street and the bay. They may be priced higher though for the view. Not sure. The room had a full size fridge, dishes, utensils, microwave, toaster, etc. It was really quite nice if you want to make your meals in your room and save money. San Fran is very expensive if you are eating out. I don't think we ate for less than $65 for the 3 of us at any restaurant. We didn't want to go to McDonald's on our trip though. The parking is ample and not crowded. The beds and pillows were fine although it could have had an extra blanket rather than a thin coverlet. The breakfast, included with your stay, was pretty good... fruits, yogurt, cereal, hot food (eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy) and a waffle maker, to name a few. Pool is only 3 fet deep. No hot tub but rights to use the hot tub at the Double Tree next door. Overall, probably the best value you can find in the San Fran area. I'd stay again in a heart beat.

Pros: The hotel staff was nice and the breakfast is not bad
Cons: New fold out couches should be bought and the carpeting should be replaced in the entire hotel.
The worst thing about the hotel was the fold out couch. The mattress was old and had horrible support with springs sticking in your back. The carpets were old and dirty and smelled like the exterminator had just come. The hotel staff was nice and friendly and the breakfast was alright.

Comfort close to SF airportPosted Jun 10, 2015
Pros: Close to the airport, comfortable room.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't very tempting.
The Homeward Suites by Hilton were a comfortable and affordable way to end our stay in San Francisco with early flights from SFO. It includes a breakfast which is suitable for a 3-star hotel and similar to other "suite" hotels I've been to in the past.

Great hotel but neighborhood can be noisy.Posted May 19, 2015 on Hotels
Have stayed here on two trips. Rooms & staff were very nice, however, many rooms overlook the busy highway and rail line. On the last trip. We were awakened at 3am by a rail maintenance crew working on the line just outside our window. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to request a room on the front of the hotel.
