Funky hotel close to everythingPosted Nov 24, 2015
A nifty spot with everything we needed for our short stay. Super friendly staff and we really enjoyed our Friday night glass of wine with amazing live music. Not much water pressure but loads of charm :)

Not badPosted Nov 10, 2015
Pros: Google and Expedia
Cons: Water pressure, smell, faster WiFi
Location: Close to everything! Chinatown, shopping, etc
The hotel is pretty chic and smells like a library when you walk in. Pros: Pretty quiet Room size is large Free WiFi Location Clean Bed comfort is ok Cons: WiFi is a tad slow but gets the job done Smells like a library Water pressure is semi lacking Elevator is tiny and slow Overall: Would I stay here again? I'd look at what alternatives there are and if others are significantly more expensive or not available, I'd stay here again but I wouldn't prefer it.

Perfect in every way!Posted Nov 7, 2015
Pros: Clean, interesting, affordable, great location, quiet, delightful and helpful staff.
Cons: Not a thing. I am not sure why this hotel does not have 5 star rating. It is not slick Las Vegas with automatic lighting and windows, but is 5 star!
Location: Union Square, China Town, Market Street, Theaters, restaurants and easy transit to everything else.
Delightful and intriguing decor especially if you care about arts and literature but in a fun way. Quiet, immaculate and fantastic REAL people working there. We travel all over the world and US and I would rank this as a top stay. It is easy to find something more expensive or elaborate, but if you care about SF experience, this is an excellent pick because it is not phony. None of that vacuous "have a nice day" experience. The design and the staff reflect high value for very reasonable rates. The bar is terrific for relaxing, conversation, meeting people. Cafe is intimate. And the elevator is worth a ride. Painted lamp shades, all integrated with the arts.

Great hotel for a weekend exploringPosted Oct 24, 2015
My boyfriend and I love this hotel. The Prohibition theme adds a nice touch and the service and cleanliness are impeccable. It's right off Union Square and a perfect place to stay if you're exploring SF. I highly recommend it.

Hotel Rex - FantasticPosted Oct 20, 2015
Pros: Location and atmosphere
Cons: Nothing. Loved everything.
Location: 7-Evelen and Walgreens for convenience. Liquor & mini-grocery store down the street. Shops in every direction. Chinatown is less than 3 blocks away
This is a fun boutique hotel with lots of charm and a great location! Staff was very friendly and the bartenders knew great drinks and recommended nearby restaurants, which the best suggestion was a creole place with crawfish beneits. Walgreens and 7-Eleven across the street so we had a place to buy yogurt, snacks, allergy pills, and bottled water. Liquor store on the next block and there was a mini-fridge in the room so that worked out. There is a diner and pizza place on the corner. Rex is a block or two from Chinatown. Shoppind district is right down Sutter. It took a few minutes, but we walked to the Wharf both days we were there, so pretty much walked everywhere. I didn't use them but my understanding was they had bikes to borrow. The hotel also has really good coffee. My wife and I both agreed we will go back to this hotel.

便利な立地Posted Oct 20, 2015

Pros: Cool vibe, nice staff.
Cons: The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable.
Location: Close to Union Square - good restaurants and shopping.
This hotel was nice and had a great bar area. It was well situated but was overpriced. We didn't get internet in the room and the bed was small and uncomfortable.
