Great LocationPosted Aug 25, 2015
Pros: The friendly staff, the decor. We had a lovely king room with a view of the courtyard. Such a nice surprise
Location: A couple of blocks from Union Plaza, next door to Hogwash, a very popular restaurant. Lots of great eating places within walking distance.
The location is perfect. Close to Union Plaza, alternative parking garages nearby. The decor is very pleasing and playful as well. The staff is most helpful and friendly. It has a happy hour with wine from 5-6, a great break in the day!

Location: Very close to Union Square and cable cars. Check out Ryoko Suchi bar for awesome, cheap sushi and the Tonga room for a fancy tiki bar experience!
Such a cute hotel with character. Although it was expensive it was on the cheaper end for the area. The staff was really friendly and I loved that htey gave a free glass of wine down at the bar each evening.

Boutique hotel in a great locationPosted Aug 17, 2015
Lovely hotel run by lovely people. We happened to be there during a very hot weekend and the window box AC unit was very loud and not very efficient.

OverpricedPosted Aug 8, 2015
This hotel is terribly overpriced considering the quality of the rooms. Yes, it is in a good location, but there are better hotels in the area that are the same price.

Mother/Daughter Weekend in San FranciscoPosted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: Location to Union Square and parking garages
My daughter and I spend the weekend in the city for her 21st birthday. This hotel was recommended by a friend due to the location and ease of getting around Union Square. We did online check in the night before and we were notified by txt the morning of arrival that the room was available. We knew before arriving that our room was ready so that was nice to know we could check in and not have our bags stored (we arrived before noon). Short walk to shopping and many restaurants nearby. We took the bus to Golden Gate Park and to Fisherman's Wharf. The staff was super in letting us know which bus stops to take and how to get to each one. We had a King room on the 4th floor that was on the backside of the hotel so it was very quiet. Bed was very comfy!

Great Friendly StaffPosted Jul 29, 2015
A very warm welcome & attended to our needs & questions promptly. The 5pm complimentary wine in the library bar was a great experience . The barman was most hospitable & was great to talk wine with .

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful! Re hotel is comfortable and clean and close to both Union Square, Market Street, and Chinstown. In other words it's a great location.
