Pros: location
Cons: space, the room was small.
Location: theres everything around.
it was ok, i had payed my room, but to be able to stay i had to pay an extra that was required. felt weird.

Pros: Location at Union Square
Cons: Bathrooms need to be upgraded.
We enjoyed the stay. The room was a little bit small, and the bathroom needed to be updated. But the location was great, and the price reasonable.

Pictures are deceiving

Don't let them put you in room 608! This room should never be given to guests, the room has no form of air circulation (ac, fan or openable window) to help clear out the smell of smoke and air fresheners/cleaning products, additionally the whole room had a severe slope to the floor which was so prevalent that it was a real possibility that when lying on the bed you could easily roll off because it was on so much of a slope. Thankfully after speaking to the front desk they were able to find us another room just around the corner which was level and had ac and a window that opened. Overall the photos online do not fully represent what the hotel or rooms actually look like so beware and don't expect what you see in the photos.

Nice hotel with great staff

This was my fifth time staying with them and all I have to say is that the rooms are comfy and the staff at the front desk are very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel because their rooms are affordable and is close to everything in Union Square.

Needs Work!

The shower didn't work properly and maintenance needed to fix it which they did. The heater didn't work at all during the stay and maintenance looked at it twice and kept saying that it should work. The sheets were clean but there was a permanent shoe imprint fully visible on the exposed top sheet. The room window was able to be opened but would not stay up. From the end of the bed to the wall there was about 12 inches of clearance, and with the T.V. mounted on the wall it made it difficult to get to the other side of the bed. Hotel staff did make adjustments in our bill but had I known that the hotel was in this state I would have stayed elsewhere.

Check-in was quick and easy; staff were pleasant and courteous. Hotel was in the middle of renovations, but noise was not an issue. Very cozy but with up to date conveniences.

Loud construction at 9am Saturday 18 February 2017

Hotel is under construction, renovations . Booked a room for Friday night, on Saturday morning at 8 am the sounds of construction started, by 9 am they were scraping off the floor above us and pounding away with hammers. The front desk did not tell us the constructions going to start at 8 AM but there were two signs tthat said excuse our dust. I contacted front desk if they could stop just for a little bit while I finished sleeping . It was this interaction that proped me to make this review. They could care less. And stated there was nothing they could do, or would do.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at

I paid extra for a room with 2 queen beds. When I arrived I was told that room was not available so I would be given a free upgrade. My room had one full sized bed, not even at least one queen. The room was the size of my closet. Then when I went to use the bathroom there was literally poop stains in my toilet. If it hadn't been such a long crazy day, I wouldn't have left and refused to stay there.
