This hotel is historical with lovely woodwork and chandeliers. The rooms were nice, nothing special, but the beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable; box spring beds without pillow tops to help at all; I woke up in pain the next day fro the beds (I'm 26 BTW). The hallways had that 'old smell' to them but the rooms didn't
Overall, if you're looking for nice hotel that's centrally located but not a 5 star, then this is it.
*** Quick tip - If you're driving, the valet is around the back of the hotel. Once you pass the hotel to your right, go to the corner of Market St. and turn right, you will see signs for parking almost immediately to the right; there will be signs for public parking, make a right there but pass it and it will look like a dark alley with LED lights - drive back there and the valet should greet you.
