Location of the hotel is good: centre of the downtown. Staff are friendly and helpful. One thing unacceptable is the smell of the property. Probably the hotel is renovated from an old property, so the amenities are not in good conditions. There is bad smell coming from the pipelines. Even the strong fragrance in the common area cannot cover the smell. The worst is the ventilator in the room. I stayed in 2 different rooms during my 5 days of stay. There was problem in the first room I stayed: the ventilator rumbled like a drilling machine every hour. I rang the service desk for help and they sent the technician to me promptly. Once he fixed a bit, the ventilator came quiet. But once he left, the noise came like hell again. Ultimately, I set the temperature low so the ventilator rumbled less frequently. In addition, the amentities fee of USD35 is questionable. By looking at the bill, the total price is nearly the same as the hotel across the street.
