It s a gorgeous sunset at Bay bridge of San Francisco California Beautiful day, beautiful site in San Francisco. This stately row of Victorian houses sits in San Francisco and is known as The Painted Ladies. They are majestic, beautiful, and well worth the time I stood here taking the photo. I waited on the light to dissipate, the crowds to thin, and the city lights of San Francisco to come on to make a nice backdrop. All in all, a good use of my time I must admit! From http://nomadicpursuits.com/ The San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge is a complex of bridges spanning San Francisco Bay in California. As part of Interstate 80 and the direct road between San Francisco and Oakland, it carries about 240,000 vehicles a day on its two decks. It has one of the longest spans in the United States
During and after the sunset is the best time to view the city of San Francisco with the Bay bridge as the frame and of course during its low tide so you can step down to the sea shore #architecture A view that never gets old, the Golden Gate Bridge. Don't just take a picture, take a walk across the bridge... #Bestof5 #StunningStructures Stop by Jax's SoMa wine bar for an awesome happy hour. $20 mixed flights and #Delicious $12 cheese boards in a beautiful venue that will have you thinking you're in Napa, where the vintages are grown and bottled. Cute painted VW bus ready for a #roadtrip parked outside of Mission Delores Park. Walk around the streets surrounding the park for more cute and quaint sights! An essential stop on any adult trip to SF. Bring a blanket and some beers if you plan on hanging out for a while - the blanket will protect against the trash-covered lawn and the beers go unregulated here! If you get tired of smelling weed in the air, head down the street to the famous Bi-Rite creamery for a scoop of honey lavender or earl grey tea ice cream! The one & only Golden Gate bridge! Bay bridge viewed at pier 14 of San Francisco, the blue hour moment after sunset was amazing Best lunch spot in SoMa, regardless the weather or your mood. They have enough variety to justify a grilled cheese at any time. I tried one with a Greek olive tapenade and followed it with an amazing mango lemonade. Sit on the patio on a sunny day for great people watching! Really neat architecture at SFMOMA and it's awesome gift shop. Stop by for some design-conscious gifts and mementos in a city otherwise overrun with tacky tourist trinkets. Beautiful Victorian town homes near Haight Ashbury line the streets. According to National Geographic Traveler guide book, residents of the streets painted their houses different colors during renovations that kept up the spirit of the '60s. #architecture #roadtrip #blue #red A relaxing place in San Francisco Blue bottle is an SF classic. They have great coffee, a decent breakfast menu and the whole place looks like a laboratory. Go to the one in Mint Plaza for actual seating (many Blue Bottles are kiosks or attached to office lobbies).
Sorry Stumptown. Makes me think of Tony Bennett every time I see this.
'little cable cars, climbing halfway to the stars...' There are lots of really awesome art installations, murals, and street art-covered buildings in the area around California College of the Arts' SF location in the Mission. Stop by nearby Coffee Bar for a Thai iced coffee and great hipster watching. The San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, linking San Francisco and Oakland via Yerba Buena Island on a rainy winter day. The Bay Bridge isn't as beautiful, or as photographed, as the Golden Gate Bridge, but it's every bit as much a wonder of early twentieth-century engineering. It opened to traffic in 1936. Its eastern span, between the island and Oakland, was recently replaced. Complete east coast fellow. Until I went out west. Now I'm just stuck in the middle. Strange head sculpture in the park. There are two... The other one rests on it's own ear. Would love to know more about this cool piece. I also apologize for not being able to specify the exact location #TroverDetour from last week while on a trip with my friend and my mother who had lived in the Bay Area for a period of time. She said she knew the best place in San Francisco to watch the sunset and turns out she was right! We made it just in time to catch a beautiful view from the top of a huge cliff and got to snap a couple of great shots. The Palace of Fine Arts-I actually screamed with excitement when I saw it lit up at night. Built in 1915, it's a marvelous piece of #architecture that now hosts concerts, art shows, and weddings in San Francisco. #roadtrip Sunrise #AquaTrove The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge spanning the Golden Gate strait, the mile-wide, three-mile-long channel between San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The structure links the U.S. city of San Francisco, on the northern tip of the San Francisco Peninsula, to Marin County, bridging both U.S. Route 101 and California State Route 1 across the strait. The bridge is one of the most internationally recognized symbols of San Francisco, California, and the United States. It has been declared one of the Wonders of the Modern World by the American Society of Civil Engineers.
The Frommers travel guide considers the Golden Gate Bridge I love taking pictures Golden Gate Bridge. At 850 ft (260 m) the transamerica pyramid is the tallest skyscraper in San Francisco. 600 Montgomery street. Grab a cup of joe in north beach and admire this incredible superstructure. We spent the day at the Palace......

Beautiful way to spend a leisurely afternoon.

Japanese Tea Gardens @ San Francisco I'm buying whatever they are selling What does it feel like drink from a toilet bowl? Great way to spend a rainy day in the city #jellyfish An angled view of the Painted Ladies in San Francisco
#Blue #bestof5 Awesome house ! Grace Cathedral sits atop Nob Hill in San Francisco, and is well worth a visit, if just to gaze at the fabulous interior. I recommend arriving early, so you can catch it empty first thing in the morning. That allows you to get shots without wayward tourists in the frame. I also recommend that after getting the straight-up-the-aisle-shot that we all take in every church, wander a bit and look for different and interesting angles. There's a lot to be had here! California, Golden Gate Bridge in the background. A beautiful spot. How do you stop cars from careening down a 27% grade? Well, you cram eight hairpin turns into a 600ft block. If you'd like to drive the crookedest street in the world, it's best to be the early bird. I drove down it in the morning without a single car nearby. I returned in the evening by foot to take pictures and there was a cop directing traffic and quite a queue of cars. The San Francisco City hall ceiling in disco mode for a TEDMED party. Just a fine place for a nap! Pier 39, I think. I was pleasantly surprised at all the wildlife we encountered in San Francisco. Step aside from the hustle and bustle of busy SoMa in this tiny and adorable neighborhood park. Complete with playground, grassy field, tall trees and cute houses, this spot will have you putting down your phone and forgetting about the world for a bit. The famous sea lions at Pier 39 barking, napping and striking various photogenic poses. A fun social observation is to stand back, watch the crowds and try to decide which group of creatures is more civil; the huddled mass of sea lions or the clamoring tourists jockeying for position with their selfie-sticks. Colorfully painted Victorian houses in the Haight District of California keep up the psychedelic vibe of the neighborhood.
Seen from Haight Street in San Francisco, near Ashbury Street.

The dome is the 5th largest in the world! The most crooked street in the world! I stumbled upon this by accident after jumping off a cable car. Very touristy day.
I learned that the curves, gardens and switchbacks on this section of Lombard Street were installed as a traffic calming measure. The speed limit is 5 mph.

#sanfrancisco #california Good night from San Francisco. Sunrise at Golden Gate Bridge , San Francisco Beautiful view at Pier 7 I've always appreciated photographs of multicolored boats on the water and these fishing boats fit the bill. Wish I had more than a day to spend there but got enough of a taste that I'll be back! Amazing . A great place to people watch! Perfect weather here! It's a seal's life. A psychedelic labyrinth on the San Francisco bay. May the odds be ever in your favor. 🤓 Columbus Tower (aka Sentinel Building) in the foreground and the Transamerica Pyramid in the background. vinramundo.smugmug.com The Ferry Building is my favorite spot in San Francisco. It's an architectural gem and you can find beautiful spots to shoot both inside and out. I make a point to visit it each time I am there. I shot this one a couple of weeks back. It was after hours (a great time to go) and while the shops were closed, it was mostly empty, which is how I prefer things that I am shooting. I'm not anti-social, I just like things how I like them. :-)
From http://nomadicpursuits.com/ Well , everyone seems to come to this beautiful place everyone in a while including myself, sometimes wedding and special events can be taken place here too Enjoying a beautiful day and an incredible church. A small but respectable aquarium Beauty in a power Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, USA. Golden Gate Park provides hiking and beaches and beautiful views . The sea lions aren't the only wildlife fun on Pier 41. This seagull decided to get up close and personal too. Growing up in Ohio, we referred to seagulls as K-mart birds because we always saw flocks of them in the K-mart parking lot feasting on fast food remnants discarded by careless blue light shoppers. For many centuries, pyramids have been a great design option. #greatdesign Chinatown in San Francisco is so much fun. I felt like I had sensory overload walking through the streets. So much to see and do! #roadtrip #red Streets of San Francisco Arguably one of the most recognized buildings in San Francisco, The Transamerica Pyramid is the tallest skyscraper in the cities skyline.
Completed in 1972 at a height of 853 ft it was designed by architect William Pereira, early opponents of the buildings design sometimes referred to it as #goldenhour Bay Bridge, San Francisco, California, USA. I left my heart in San Francisco.

Stumbled upon the California Mille. It started with a car show at the Fairmont Hotel and then the next day the real adventure starts-a four day, thousand mile back road trip with Porsches, Jaguars, Ferraris, Bentleys. Breath-taking cars. Fantastic view from my clients office! The Painted Ladies as they are known by... Or the houses in the opening credits of Full House. Some on street parking near by. Inside City Hall. Take your time walking around to absorb the history and beautiful #architecture. As you walk up the stairs, you will see the bust of Harvey Milk, who sadly lost his life in this building. Milk was a man who fought for the civil rights of the LGBT community. He would have been proud to know that on the day I visited City Hall, I saw 2 same-sex marriages taking place. #roadtrip
