The Hotel is very close to Wharf The Rooms are nice Not overly big But clean and contemporary

Pros: Staff was super helpful and pleasant
Cons: Would have been more convenient if a hotel shuttle was available, considering the Marriott courtyard is only a few blocks away with shuttle service
Location: Excellent location. between wharf and north beach. near the best food spots and amenities. Walgreens for emergency supplies Dennys 24 hr.

Secondary treatment for Expedia customers!

Pros: location
Cons: The common areas were not up to Marriott standards we have experienced in the past.The hotel is old has low ceiling heights and small room bathrooms.
For the second time in the last couple of months we were treated poorly by hotel staff on checking in . In Palm Springs when we attempted to check in at the Hilton Inn a few months back we were told they did not have a room for us even though we had guaranteed reservations thru Expedia. After a couple of hours dealing w/ expedia to find a mother location the hotel decided to give us a secondary room! On this trip we were given a corner room which was very small and awkwardly laid out and located on the street adjacent to a construction project next door. We complained and were given a basement location but at least the room was larger. It is my belief that hotels are starting to treat Expedia customers less favorably then those who use the chains website i.e. Hilton, Marriott etc. This is becoming a problem for us. Please respond to this concern we have. Thanks.

Very nice Marriott!

I absolutely loved this hotel! From the moment you pulled up and the valet comes out to take your luggage and take your car to parking and then you enter into the hotel lobby and it's so nice!! helped me with the luggage, upstairs the room was immaculate bright spacious, and a giant bathroom! The beds were so comfortable, A great big TV and sitting area . And a mini refrigerator I Enjoyed the lounge, Service was great from bartender Rocco and the prawns cocktail absolutely fantastic big fat prawns with great cocktail sauce homemade! drinks were great loved every bit of it!! Ordered room service later in the evening excellent clam chowder!! great service from everyone, everybody was super friendly, helpful! I would stay at this hotel every single chance I got loved every part of it!!

Renovated rooms are clean & neat. Concierge great!

Pros: rooms were beautiful
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: There is a little bakery near the piers with the most amazing pastries. Seafood at Scomas was excellent. Go to the Ferry Building too.
This is in a great location. No need for car. Rooms are beautiful and just a 3-5" walk to piers. Go to Scomas for seafood and The Slanted Door for the most amazing meal.

Just an okay hotel just hate when staff lies

Cons: Hotel staff (front desk), room service,
Location: Argonaut Hotel is nearby and thats a hidden gem of a Hotel!
Long story short asked for a room on same floor as people we were traveling with they couldnt accommodate because they were full okay no big deal.we were traveling with a few families for a huge girl scout event. I was asked if I would like courtyard or street view of course when i get to room its the street after asking for courtyard. When I went back down for my correct room another person helped me and was unable to get me my courtyard room because they were sold out but did put me on the floor with a street view with the people I was traveling with? Umm okay so there was in fact a room available? Liar. Then to top it off I get home and I was told incidentals were $50/ night 2 nights equal $100 right? Well they charged me the $100 then they charged me another $450 which was very disappointing. I called but the money was gone and couldnt be put back in account for 5 business days! wow! They did take a buffet for 2 off my total even though they give them out to most guest anyway. Also shrimp cocktail was $20 plus dollars and it was terrible. I ordered and other family did same night but separate rooms and we were disgusted. I didn't even complain but save yourself $22 and go to the warf. all around I would never stay here again and i usually love marriotts!

If you would please let us know if the $50 per day authorization on your credit card, has not dropped, so that we can contact the bank for you. Credit Card authorizations are released at our property upon guest' departure. However, depending on the processing time of the bank, it takes them between 3-7 business to complete the process. Although we fell short of meeting your expectations during your past stay, we hope you will consider our property again in the future. Sincerely,

Disappointing!!

Pros: The room was nice and clean. Location was great.
Cons: Hotel, in general not that inviting. Business center was limited. No access code, only credit card. Parking much too expensive.
Location: Great location, walking distance from Fisherman's Wharf. Everything you want to do is nearby including every type of transportation once can imagine.
Paid far too much for this hotel experience. Had a view of a roof. I have experienced nicer lobbys for much less money. Completely over-priced, ESPECIALLY FOR AN EXPEDIA PRICE!!

Fishermans Wharf relaxing stay

Pros: The Hotel was newly renovated and very stylish and up to date. We loved our room.
Cons: Front entry was under construction. Didn't really bother us. The cost of parking a rental car is excessive at $63.50 after taxes.
Location: Lots of things to do within walking distance. Availability of Taxi's and Uber made it easy to get around at a more affordable rate than the cost of p
During check in I had mentioned to the clerk Mindy that we were there to celebrate my wife's birthday. We had left for dinner and when we returned to our room, she had a complimentary bottle of wine, two glasses and a cork screw there for us along with a card. The personal attention we received was over the top and it made for a very enjoyable stay. The only negative was the City Tour company they recommended. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy this company was so bad. The staff at the Fishermans Wharf Marriott were very professional and a pleasure to deal with.
