I'd go back.

Definitely not a luxury hotel. Very basic. Clean, but dated decor.

Don't believe the pictures.

Posted Aug 22, 2015
The rooms don't look like the pictures. Very out dated hotel. Rooms just have enough room for two beds and bathroom. No A/C. Just ceiling fans and open the windows but there's a shelter for the homeless across the street and with the windows open you hear them screaming and fighting every night. All night long. There is 1 extremely old elevator that takes forever and every time we got on it we thought it was going to break.

So helpful and kind, clean and comfortable. Location is close to food and entertainment, right outside of the downtown area, and extremely well priced.

good "vintage" feel

Posted Aug 18, 2015
Pros: cozy, vintage, best customer service I have exp
Cons: pricing
Location: coffee shop, japantown, union square, china town, painted ladies (further walk)
pros: EXCELLENT customer service, if it wasnt for this I would've hated my stay located walking distance between Japantown and Union Square. great if you like old, Victorian-style buildings rooftop view access (by either stairs or fire escape, dont get locked out) coffee shop right across street, and CVS a block away wi-fi cons: since building is pretty old, rooms are kinda on smaller side (don't let online photos fool you) some aspects of the building are a tad bit rundown (doors, bathroom, elevator, etc.) walls were a bit thin, I could hear a bed rocking on the mattress above our room had a temp control unit, but I didn't feel any AC? there is a ceiling fan tho.

Great hotel!

Posted Aug 8, 2015
Pros: Very roomy, front desk young lady was very nice and seem to be doing everything. It was late when we got there.
Cons: The parking was way to expensive!!
We got there late at night and the lady at front desk help carry our luggage up to our room. We loved our room because we had a huge closet that had a window in it. Parking was expensive but when we got ready to leave hotel the car was out front waiting for us, which was nice.
