Eww Eww and Eww!Posted Nov 20, 2015
Location: The Warf
When I arrived to check in, there was no one in the office window and the weirdest smelling stench! Finally someone came from the back room after i had rung the broken bell a few times. He proceeded to check me in with no smile, eye contact or mention of any amenities ect. It was very strange.. After getting the key and letting ourselves in to use the restroom after a 8 hour drive I was immediately taken aback by this very odd smell! Even worse then the office. The place was dirty! If I hadn't been so tired and staying for for more than the 2 nights, Id of asked for a refund and left. The walls had old splattered something all over them, the hard floor area was sticky, and the beds and pillows were dreadful to say the least. continental breakfast haha that's funny. They served cerel, toast and some little costco pastry things.. we stuck with those because they were store bought and wrapped. Worst of all, I called back the next day about the time we had checked in because we had left my daughters new toy from Disneyland in the room and the room had still not been clean by house keeping! He asked us to call back after 12. So we did about 5 pm and they had yet to clean the room! Oh my goodness gross!

Way better than expected. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing! The location of the motel is right in the middle of everything. I am totally staying here next time I'm in town.

LocationPosted Oct 30, 2015
Pros: Location to main tourist areas and places to eat. Good sized clean room with good facilities.
Check in/out quick and efficient. The room was clean and spacious. Great walk in shower. The TV, air-con and WiFi worked well and we had 2 mobiles a small lap top and tablet. I could easily walk to Fisherman's Wharf but my husband has some knee problems so we caught the bus. You will find the bus stop a few minutes walk along Lombard Street. You have to pay the full fare but keep the receipt as you have transfer to another bus to get to the wharf. If you walk there are many homeless around the park area but they do not bother you. The hotel staff are helpful with some info. There were plenty of places to eat but we got stung at Mel's Drive in Diner with a health care tax which we were told is compulsory in California but this is the only place we were charged it. Would stay again and recommend.

Spotless and QuietPosted Oct 18, 2015
Pros: So clean and quiet. Neighborhood atmosphere people walking nearby were nicely dressed.FREE parking
Cons: Breakfast was a bit skimpy and no tables to sit at.
Location: Location was great. Desk called a taxi that came right away. We had an awesome view of the Thunderbirds practicing for the show the next day
I usually stay at a similar place on Lombard. This place is much quieter and spotless. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very small and no table but better than none.

Motel is in need of updatingPosted Oct 15, 2015
Best marks go to Housekeeping, even with a non vacuumed floor. Room in need of new mattresses and walls need to be repaired and painted. Bathroom very outdated; cracked shower tiles, calking used on everything, and having to step up into the bathroom; not a good thing at night. The lobby is disgusting to put it nicely; stained carpet and dirty. Breakfast pitiful; cold cereal, juice, coffee, toast, and no place to sit, people just sat in the dirty lobby or outside on the curb. I went elsewhere to eat. My first and my last stay there.

Muy bien situado y muy bien la decoración!Posted Oct 15, 2015
Lo único que cambiaría sería el lobby ya que se desayuna allí mismo y no hay mesas ni suficientes sillas ara idos los clientes. Por lo demás, todo perfecto!!

After searching numerous hotels in the area, we chose the Capri for location and cost. Upon arrival I was kind of skeptical with condition of lobby, but staff was great and room was very clean! Comforts beds and quiet area. Will stay again!

A quirky motel in a nice way.Posted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: Good location for transit, walking, bars, restaurants, etc. The rooms are clean and comfortable
Cons: Main lobby needs new carpet. Would really perk it up. Continental breakfast is a little weak. Should be open earlier, not 8:00 o'clock.
Stayed five days here. Located in the Marina District one block in from noisy Lombard!!

Nice hotel in a good location.Posted Sep 20, 2015
The external appearance of the motel did initially make us worry however the rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained. The motel is in a fantastic location in a lovely area and the staff always so helpful. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family.
