Motel not on main street (a little quieter)

Posted Jul 26, 2016
Pros: The beds are better than expected.
Cons: Bathroom needs improvement.
Location: Walking distance to restaurants and sundry stores.
The height of the shower head is too low. A six-foot person would have to take a shower sitting down.

Pros: Bonne situation, parking gratuit, rapport qualité prix

Needs Improvement

Posted Jul 18, 2016
Pros: Location. Can walk to piers and other nearby locations.
Cons: Lobby, breakfast, parking. For the price paid, we expected more.
Location: Pier, Fisherman's Wharf, Hop on/off tours, Golden Gate Bridge/Park, Napa wine tours, etc.
Room was ok; it was clean and bathroom was ok. There is no one at the front desk 24 hours. Parking is based on availability. Lobby needs serious update (old, warn, smelling carpet, panel wallboard). Elevator is old and shaky. Customer service guys were friendly. They indicate free breakfast but it's toast, cereal and packaged danish. Coffee is available but no hot water for tea. Not many seats in the lobby. They open at 8 when breakfast starts and the lobby was full of people waiting for coffee and to checkout. Ran out of coffee and danish quickly. They didn't seem to be in a hurry to replenish. If alone, I would be ok with this but not with a family.

Close to everything

Posted Jul 14, 2016
The hotel was in a good location and we were able to walk almost everywhere . Hardly saw the staff and the cleaners forgot to replace the girls and empty the garbages. Was very loud too on the weekend and had a terrible sleep . Wifi worked well .

Avoid this hotel, you get less than you pay for

Posted Jul 10, 2016
Pros: Not much!
Cons: Pay attention to mold smells! At least make sure things are stocked so you don't have to wait 30m to eat toast.
The room smelled of mold. The 'continental breakfast' was anything but! Toast, cereal, packaged roll, and possibly orange juice. They constantly ran out of everything, bread, coffee cups, etc. You spent more than 30m to get a couple of pieces of toast. The second morning we asked for orange juice and were repeated told 'it is coming' only to wait over 30m for them to finally say they can't find the can opener. The smell of mold in the room was strong and they obviously didn't care about it when cleaning the room ... you couldn't miss it. This would be considered a very low end, low budget, you aren't paying anything so you aren't getting anything ... but the cost wasn't low budget and I would strongly recommend avoiding it.

Solides Motel mit gutem Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis

Posted Jul 7, 2016
Pros: Lage + leise Umgebung, Preis/Leistung, Safe, Kühlschrank, schnelles WLAN, Tisch+2 Stühle, Schreibtisch, TV, Fliegengitter vor dem Fenster, Klimaanlage
Cons: Umfangreicheres Frühstück; bessere Hygiene (u.a.
Location: Relativ zentrale Lage; gute Erreichbarkeit mit Bus&Bahn (Linie 28+30); einige Geschäfte, Restaurants, Bars, Tankstellen u.v.m. in direkter Umgebung!
Die Buslinien 28 (u.a. Richtung Golden Gate Bridge) und 30 (u.a.

Hotel is close to shops and dining

Posted Jul 6, 2016
Good location, decent price and comp parking. The only issue was the housekeeping staff was very loud and our shower was broken. They let us us a different room to get ready but it was too late to move rooms because we were an hour from checkout time.

Run down hotel in great residential location

Posted Jul 5, 2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Hotel needs some cleanup and repair. Having to pay a $100 up front in case you take towels, sheets, smoke or have a pet is ridiculous.
Location: Easy walk to the bay and can hike up to the top of Lombard street. Several corner markets and restaurants close by.
Centrally located hotel within walking distance to quaint restaurants and shops. Disappointed with mandatory $100 deposit upon arrival. Hotel could use a bit of repair and walls are pretty thin. Overall - not terrible but great location.
