Great location a few blocks from market . A few stores near by also restaurants. When checking in front desk was a little rude. Room was nice the bed was not that great. The Maids were very nice though.

Moderate place to stay and park the car in SF

Pros: Location, clean room
Cons: Exterior painting and elevator painting; go easy on air freshener in rooms
Location: SF Asian Art Museum, SF Opera and Davies Symphony hall are very close (less than 1 mile walk). For breakfast, try amazing "Brenda's Soul Food"
Outside appearance - not attractive. Room - clean, but we couldn't get rid of the air freshener's smell. Overall if one plans to see Opera or Symphony, and needs to park the car and stay overnight, this would be an acceptable option. I wouldn't call this "hotel" - definitely inn or motor inn. Note - that area is not very pleasant to walk in the evening. Staff is nice, and easily accommodated our request for a quiet room.

Terrible staff, ok basic hotel.

Staff were absolutely terrible, very rude and impolite. Room was ok, clean, very springy mattress but wasn't too bad. Aircon worked well. Do have parking but be prepared to get blocked in. Location was ok, but don't turn left out of the enterance as you will be walking into a very dodgy area with a lot of homeless people. Overall did the job for our one night stay, but wouldn't stay there again.

Homeless people living right under the window and could hear everything upstairs downstairs next door.. Very noisy hotel..very rude desk manager..

A quick call to the front desk can usually have someone check on any noise issues as we want you to be comfortable during your stay. The room smelled strongly of cleaning products. It was overpowering. There were homeless/crazy people right outside that were loud all through the night and it made it difficult to sleep. The chairs had holes in them. It was quite disappointing. When you are getting a deal, I guess there is a reason. Very unfortunate. No room service so I ordered a pizza, and due to the area had to go out to the street to get it. I asked the pizza guy to wait till I got back inside since I was afraid to walk back alone.

Good deal around Civic Center.

Great location. Updated bath and lovely floor. Convienient heating&A/C. Plan to eat breakfast elsewhere. Limited parking if you arrive late.

Hairy bathtub

The room was not cleaned well. There was hair found in the tub on two separate occasions. This was brought to the attention of the front desk person Sam.
