The worst lodging experiencePosted Oct 26, 2015
The room smells like combination of dirty feet and Tabacco. Staff at front desk was super nice, and she switched us to another room. Better but still Disgusting ODOR! This is a low a dated motel but charge for 2.5 star hotel rate. I am so disappointed!!! I was tempted to change a room again but the poor nice lady at front desk was so busy taking care of tons of guests from big tour bus by herself. I put coffee pack in front of wall AC and let the air blow them to get rid of BAD smells. Never ever stay here again. A friend came for a short visit made the comment that 1st room smelled like dirty feet, 2nd room smells like dirty socks.

Convenient, affordable, but a bit worn.Posted Oct 21, 2015
Stayed here for three nights, and the hotel worked as intended - no major issues. The hotel is close to downtown San Mateo, which was convenient, since my trip involved running all over the place. It seemed like an average budget hotel, though this is not necessarily a bad thing. There were some stains on the carpet and furniture, but the bed sheets and other working surfaces were clean and neat. I had a minor issue with my key card, but the staff promptly took care of it. I cannot comment on the noise level, since I habitually sleep with earplugs. But, I was able to focus on my trip without any hotel-related disturbances.

Economical, comfortable hotel convenient to SFOPosted Oct 18, 2015
Pros: Location and price.
Cons: Sheets are a little thin.
Location: Good Mexican restaurant, Celia's, about a mile away.
Very friendly, helpful staff at lobby desk. Basic room but with all necessary amenities. Surprisingly quiet given location relative to Route 101. Breakfast was not fully set up by 6:30 am start time which could be an issue if you have an early flight.

Very nice comfortable hotel. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was great. But the shuttle driver was terrific from the airport.

Good place to stay near the airportPosted Sep 22, 2015
The room was reasonably comfortable, I only stayed one night. The continental breakfast was good provided more than most. Hallways are very dark and in need of updating. But the rooms are nice enough.
