Centralt men småt

Posted Jul 25, 2016
Meget centralt beliggende hotel nær Union Square. Fint hotel men små værelser og små senge. Venligt personale. Et godt storby hotel

Within walking distance to to Shops

Posted Jul 25, 2016
Pros: Close to shops
Cons: No soap in the room Defrost the freezer. could not use it due to the build up of ice Provide a refrigerator for guest to use for their own goods
Location: Close to Macy's Close to Cable Car's
This was just an okay hotel for me. Although it was within walking distance to major shopping, the parking is very expensive. I really can't say anything 'bad' about it on a whole, it was just okay for me.

The tiny bathroom

Posted Jul 24, 2016
The restroom was the worst! I couldn't bring my toiletries into the restroom because there was no room to put anything. No room for curling irons also. Women need a large enough bathroom to use and share!!!

Hotel was in the perfect location.

Posted Jul 23, 2016
Serrano is centrally Located to just about anywhere in the city one would want to go. Rooms were renovated and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Was overall satisfied and would recommend as well as stay there again.

Hello Brandon, A happy guest is the best reward we can have, and we’re thrilled to hear our location and hotel team made your stay one you’d gladly do again! It’s hard to choose between all the landmarks around us (Union Square, Chinatown, theater, AT&T Park, Embarcadero); the list is long! Whether you want to see it again, or come back to explore more of the city, we’re already looking forward to having you stay with us again!

Dirty toilet..Small room. Very disappointing.

Posted Jul 20, 2016
Pros: Nothing much besides the bed.
Cons: Cleanliness
Location: Not directly at union square, but still walkable.
The toilet was really dirty. Although the room was small, but still acceptable. Hotel should look into the cleanliness for guests' pleasant stay.

Hello, We’re sincerely sorry that the toilet was anything less than spotless. As a four-star hotel, we take housekeeping very seriously and are bringing this issue up with our team immediately. Always know, we are more than happy to come take care of the issue during the time of your stay. We want guests to be happy with their room and service. We’d love the chance to have you stay with us again so we can offer the true Serrano experience, where beautiful and clean rooms come standard! Thanks!

Nice hotel close to Union Square

Posted Jul 13, 2016
Cons: They had complimentary coffee in the morning. Decaf at night would have been lovely.
The hotel is in a good location, making it easy to walk the city. Overnight parking was convenient. The hotel lobby was nicer than the exterior of the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Price was reasonable for the area.

Hello, What’s a visit to San Francisco without walking around to see the sights? A great location (next to Union Square) is one of our favorite things to offer our guests, and we’re thrilled it was a highlight of your stay. Our team loves to do anything we can to help our guests enjoy your stay, and we truly appreciate you letting us know that we did. Your 5-star review has made our day—the only thing we’d love more is having you back!

A very clean and economical solution. It was closed to Union Square and although near the tenderloin, a great choice for high quality low cost accomodations.

additional fees!

Posted Jul 12, 2016
Pros: clean and quiet, had a decent workout room.
Cons: hidden fees as I mentioned before, also all of the parking on that block is over $50 per night, because they charge taxes and fees too!
Location: close to union square - good restaurants and bars
I booked this hotel for $168 for one night. With tax, my expedia confirmation said the hotel will charge $195. They charged me $299 originally, and when I called, they gave me $50 back. Which means I paid $249 all told. A full $50 more than I agreed to. The man on the phone refused to give the rest back because he said there were fees. I have no idea what the fees were for because no one mentioned them to me when i checked in, or when i checked out, which I think is pretty terrible service.

Hello Sachi, At Serrano, we’re all about having the comforts of home! Having a place to work out are part of that, and extra benefits like morning coffee and tea, all day flavored water in reception, morning newspaper, town car service Mon thru Fri mornings to the financial district, unlimited local calls and faxes, boarding pass printing, use of our bicycles, and free Wi-Fi are too. This is what our Urban Fee covers, but we sincerely apologize if you were not made aware of the charges before your stay. We’re also very sorry to hear about the service you received and are bringing it up with our hotel team immediately. When guests stay at Serrano, we want service to be at the top of their list of reasons to return. We’d love another chance to make this right.

Not good value for money

Posted Jul 10, 2016
You will find better hotel for much more lower price than this in this localisation. I slept here for only one night (okey, the room was clean as well as the bathroom), but I succeeded in finding better place (with breakfast) just 300 meters from Serrano Hotel on the next day. Maybe Serrano hotel was a modern hotel 10 years ago, but now it looks a little bit old and it needs renovation. Shortly: low value for money

Hello Adam, At Serrano, our guests and the quality of a stay are the two most important parts of our hotel which is why we are taking your feedback seriously. We strive to be at a comfortable price point for our guests and are listening to your comments about breakfast. A meal at Jasper’s Corner Tap & Kitchen is a guest highlight, and we hope you had a chance to try something from their breakfast menu. (The Lox Tartine is amazing!) Many guests are surprised to learn that Serrano Hotel was built in 1923, and we’re one of San Francisco’s oldest hotels. It’s why we strive to stay true to our historic character. It’s important to keep Serrano looking her best though, and we’re happy to share we’re in the midst of ongoing renovations. We’d love another chance to impress and have you stay again!
