Very good location

Posted Feb 9, 2016
Pros: Clean rooms and friendly helpful staff
Cons: needs some sort of soundproofing for windows
Location: Excellent location right next to Fisherman's Wharf and the North Beach area
Staff were friendly and room clean and comfortable. Main drawback was the very noisy roads outside

A good location close to Fisherman's Wharf.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Found our room clean and comfortable. Within walking distance of most wharf restaurants and attractions. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Close to beach and major sites.

Called ahead to inform front desk that we were checking in very late (3am). The system was down upon arrival so waited for about 30 min. Once the system was up, front desk couldn't find my name or confirmation number. So another 10 min wasted. Thou they were very apologetic and pleasant, the computer system needs some kind of upgrading.

Great location. Hotel stay was ok.

Posted Jan 26, 2016
Pros: The location. The beds were very comfortable.
Cons: Price of hotel and parking. Painting
Location: Right by Fisherman's Wharf. Walking distance to everything.
The location is great. The parking is expensive and the hotel is ok. I was expecting more for a four star hotel. It needs repainting and updating.

Great location, nice hotel, good service

Posted Jan 26, 2016
Pros: Location, cleanliness, service
Cons: Detailed above - minor updates, larger towels at pool, a few more coffee creamers/sweeteners on hand in the room (there was only two of each item)
Location: Close to a lot of great places, Pier 39 in walking distance, short drive to Union Square, many other great attractions and shopping
We liked this hotel - the location was great, close to Pier 39, Union Square and other attractions. There was an expected level of noise from a hotel in the city - I am a light sleeper and it didn't bother me with the fan running on low at night. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We thought a few updates would spruce it up even more - updating some of the windows, the carpet seemed like it wasn't installed quite right, and a hot tub would have been amazing. However, these are cosmetic and luxury complaints so not a deal breaker by any means. We also thought larger towels at the pool should be available - they seemed even smaller than the bath towels. Overall, this was a very pleasant, comfortable, clean hotel in a great location for an affordable price!

Quiet Room

Posted Jan 24, 2016
Pros: An excellent location. It is a big hotel but has a welcoming atmosphere and although many people were staying there, we were not overly aware of this.
Cons: The bathroom was slightly small.
Location: There is a Supermarket across the road. Pier 39 is nearby. The souvenir shop Route 66 is a block away. China Town is a short bus-ride away.
We asked for a quiet room and were given just that on the top floor. It had a king size bed in a well decorated, large room, which was all very nice on the eye. There was a desk/bench running the length of the wall below the window which allowed us to lay out our meals on a tablecloth, using tasty food we bought from the Supermarket across the road. It was just a short walk to Pier 39/ Fisherman's Wharf. An excellent stay at a price we could afford!

Two blocks from Fishermans Wharf.

We were very happy with this hotel . My only concern is that you should be warned of the 50 dollar per day parking charge prior to booking.
