Pros: Location
Cons: The view from the room and direction labels to find your room easier. If we didn't use the same elevator each time, we would get lost in the hallways
It was a great stay. Walking distance to the attractions. Fire pits and a patio outside. Room was comfortable.

Hotel was in a good location.

Pros: The location was great. Within walking distance of most everything. The staff was great and very helpful. Everyone there were very friendly.
Cons: The walls need painted and the wallpaper needs updated and fixed up. The computers need some work also.
Location: The location was perfect. We were able to walk to everything that we wanted to, except China Town, but there was a bus system close by.
The hotel was older than we expected. The walls were banged up and scuffed up, up on the 2nd floor. Our air conditioning quit working the first night that were there, and got quite warm by the next evening. They did fix it very quickly. We were disappointed that the Wifi wasn't included in the price of the room. All of the extras were more money, which most other hotels include them in the price of the room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The maids did a great job of cleaning. Not much of a view. The computers and printers didn't work. We tried and tried to get one of them to work, but never did have any luck.

Room great but ...

Mixed experience -the room was fresh and comfortable, overall style fresh and appealing but odd service misses and no restaurant simply a coffee and cocktail stand with a few snack/sandwich options. Worst experience was that the wifi sign on did not work and from comments from front desk this was not unusual - issue was some mistake in clearing account from previous guest in my room - spent 30 minutes on phone with tech support only to have them "esxalate@ the issue to alone at 2AM! No one could simply give me a courtesy code toget online and bypass the problem they had created.

Two night stay with family

Cons: Staff needs to be more trauned
Location: San Francisco attractions
Overall satisfied. In-room wifi was not working. Never called back to fix the bug. Ice bucket was never brought to the room after request.

Parking meters in this area are $3 per hour! However, our charges are similar of other hotels in this area. Better Hotels in the area for less money

Cons: Rooms are getting old need updating
Location: Pier 39 is the place to go for shopping. Alcatraz tour was great! need to book tickets way in advance (2 months) or stand in line early morning.
Booked this through Expedia was promised two queen beds with a roll away. California Fire Code does not allow a roll away in the room. Had to upgrade for a lot more money! Bed in room had dirty sheets on it. Not the best Hotel. Need more attention to detail. Several block walk to the wharf with a lot of homeless people begging for money.

Excellent location

Excellent location one block from pier 39 and tour pick ups like Big Bus Tours and Tower Tours. Excellent staff, friendly and helpful with booking tours and giving advice. Very clean hotel. Rooms O.K. Overall great experience.

Noisey room --trucks backing up to deliver supplies all night long...beep beep beep! Too small for the price, no view . Charges for microwave refrigerator and Internet too much.

Too expensive

Great location but 250+ per night plus 52 per night parking PLUS 13 per night wifi for a La Quinta quality room with NO view was frustrating.
