Great downtown stay

Posted Dec 3, 2016
Pros: Staff is very attentive, close to Union Square
Cons: Individual controls for room temperature
Location: Great shopping nearby and public transportation readily available
The King suite rooms are spacious, with fridge stacked with complimentary water and soft drinks. Nice pastry assortment for breakfast, free glass of wine each night. Restaurant is quaint Italian.

Lovely hotel, too costly to park

Posted Nov 28, 2016
The hotel is very cute and quaint and close to everything. The only problem is the cost to park. $52 a day is way too much and because of this I will not be staying there until the price comes down. U can find much more affordable rooms that include parking close by. Sorry Andrews but you may have done yourself an injustice.

Ok for what you pay

Posted Nov 27, 2016
Pros: Hot water, breakfast, staff, cleaning.
Cons: No comfy chair in room, just straight back desk chair. Nowhere other than bed to sit. Obviously nothing can be done about size, it is what it is.
Location: Handful of blocks from Union Square but far enough to be less busy. Recommend biking the bridge.
As lots of hotels in this price bracket, you,re not in the luxury mode. A degree of datedness but not unusual in old city hotels. Rooms and shower rooms small but do you need lots of space for a city break? Rooms only for 2 people. Lots of flow and hot water in shower and all the time, often a challenge in some hotels. Cleaning every day and thorough. Buffet breakfast good, cakes, pastries, fruit, tea, coffee. Front desk staff very pleasant and helpful.

Quaint hotel in central location

Posted Nov 15, 2016
Pros: It has character due to its age, and has all the amenities you need.
Cons: Maybe the TV reception, which at times struggles. But then you are not there to watch TV.
Location: Good central location, easy walk to shops, BART and Fisherman's wharf.
Arrived late in the evening to the news I had been given a complimentary upgrade. Good news all round. Hotel has good complimentary wifi, nice continental breakfast for when you are over cooked breakfasts all day. Staff always helpful and pleasant. Easy walk from BART and easy to navigate the city.

Charming city hotel

Posted Nov 1, 2016
Pros: Location, right cheery rooms
Cons: TVs are small, difficult to watch the World Series.
Location: Fino restaurant, partner with the Hotel is wonderful. Walking distance to Union Square.
Close to Union Square and great neighborhood restaurants. For an extended stay, the king suite is two rooms, with fridge, bathroom and in-room sink. Staff is very helpful and free wine at 5:00 pm each day!

Quaint historic hotel in a great location

Posted Oct 30, 2016
Pros: The staff at the front desk and the attached restaurant made the stay a pleasant one. They were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The wifi and Internet was pretty spotty but not ever enough to warrant a complaint to the front desk.
Location: The "Tender-Nob" area is rife with trendy eateries and bars with craft beers and cocktails within a couple of blocks walk of the hotel.
The Andrews Hotel is an historic hotel near to downtown and within walking distance to most attractions or BART/MUNI stops. The staff are very friendly and helpful and really go out of their way to make your stay pleasent and provide advice on local food and attractions. The building is over 100 years old with original amenities including the elevator, which can be a downside if you're not in to that sort of thing. The double bed room is very small and the bathroom a tight fit for a 6 ft tall individual somdon't expect spacious accommodations. This is a 100 year olf bulding after all.

Einfaches Hotel zentral gelegen

Posted Oct 23, 2016
Pros: Zentrale Lage
Cons: Hinweis das nicht alle Zimmer Fenster haben. Unser Zimmer hatte nur ein Lichtfenster zum Lichtschacht.
Location: Zentral gelegen, Shopping
Für einen Kurzaufenthalt zwischen zwei Flügen der ideale Ausgangspunkt um San Francisco zu erkunden.
