the lounge on the top floor was spectacular. The stay was ok but we were in a room with a window that had a broken hook or clasp so had a 1" gap without closing. Between a concert ending (at August Hall) and the garbage and EMS trucks wailing all night it was unbearable. When reporting this at 6am I was just given a shrug and a question as to what time I was going to check out.
Was on a very noisy corner. Loud music coming from street late into the night, all 3 nights of stay. A sound machine in room would come in handy for those rooms that are street side. Otherwise, kitchenette was very convenient.
The staff was amazing! They accommodated out needs and were on top of everything! The hotel was so beautiful and clean. The only thing was this hotel is not in a very safe area of town, especially with children.
Clean room with a comfy bed, decent table, chairs, closet, and bathroom. Very good blinds. I liked the filtered water dispenser in the lobby.
Equipment in the gym was good for me, but the TVs in the gym I could not get to work.
For the price, this is an outstanding stay at a convenient location. Decent amenities, including jacuzzi and rooftop club room, but you're not paying for any unnecessary amenities or frills. Wonderfully friendly staff. The neighborhood is "transitional"--halfway between Neiman Marcus and the Tenderloin. If you cannot tolerate homeless or struggling people near your hotel, don't stay here, and don't visit a modern American city.
Hidden gem near Union Square- huge rooms, all suite, so great to have a living room, microwave, fridge, dishes and glassware. Complimentary coffee each morning on roof deck. Great desk area for working. Very walkable to many restaurants , BART, cable car, shopping. friendly staff with lots of recommendations
Great location and really liked the room which was spacious and well appointed. One improvement would be to replace the carpet on all floors.

Wonderful service, lovely top floor spa/lounge area. Great convenient location, the only thing I would rate as average is the rooms- they were fine, but felt they needed some updating in terms of decor. Otherwise everything was great.

Very nice hotel in a good part of San Francisco. All the big stores are very close by. There are restaurants around the area. You can walk everywhere with in 2/3 blocks. Big rooms with Microwaves, mini refrigerator, some plates/ bowls/ cups/mugs and utensils. We got other building View which was nice. Very friendly stuffs. So no complaints.
Exellent location for our tourist trail and just so convenient for the cable cars.
Really enjoyed our stay and have nothing but praise for the staff, all of whom could not have been more helpful!
Comfortable place to stay for a couple of days, and good location to explore the city. Very clean and convenient. Nice staff. You can hear some noise from outside, but nothing that kept us up at night. We would happily stay there again next time we are in San Francisco.
Hotel rooms are more spacious than most in San Francisco and include a loveseat or couch. The property has unique amenities on the rooftop, including an indoor lounge, a small, hot tub indoors, and an area to walk around and view the city outside.
The hotel was lovely. Our room was large and airy and the kitchenette was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi and rooftop seating overlooking the city. Great location, very close to union square and transport links.
