Night in the City

Pros: The hotel was very clean and had beautiful stuctures.
Cons: There was nothing that could have made this experience better it was absolutely perfect
Location: The hotel is located on top of nob hill and is close to all San Francisco activities.
We were checked in very fast and upgraded to a king room for no additional charge. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Interesting

On a whim I decided to spend the night in San Francisco and saw a good deal for the Fairmont. Knowing this was an excellent hotel, I was excited about it. I toured SF and went to my room around 10:30 pm. Due to the drink I had at the Tonga Lounge downstairs, which I think had too much sugar in it, I had trouble falling asleep. What surprised me was that it was very, very noisy. I heard people coming down the hallway yelling to one another, I heard people having sex, and what sounded like revealers returning to their rooms late in the night, not caring about the noise they were making. I was surprised that the rooms were not a bit more soundproof, and it felt more like a Motel 6 experience. Needless to say, I did not fall asleep until at least 1 am and woke up late and did not get to see as much of the city as I was hoping since I ended up falling to sleep so late. Other than that, the staff were very nice, the check-in and check-out process was very smooth.

前台服務人員辦理入住很迅速。打電話讓客房服務員送拖鞋,等了一个小時也沒送來。禮賓部人員幫忙訂的車子,講明車資是直接付給司機,但是到了目的地之後司機說車資是應該和酒店結算,打電話溝通之後確認是和酒店結算。說明禮賓部給了錯誤信息

Best Mini-Vacation Ever

Pros: The bed/pillows were divine -- so soft and plush. Excellent TV service, mini bar, decor, huge closet, usb ports in bedside lamps!
Cons: One minor request would be black tea in the room -- only herbal was offered. Oh, and free wifi -- which should be standard these days....
Location: Right on the cable car line, steps to Grace Cathedral/Chinatown/Union Square/North Beach.... IN the hotel, you must visit The Tonga Room.
The reception desk person was super friendly (and fast). This was a 'mini-vacation' because I work in the city -- so I didn't really have to leave the hotel the entire weekend -- The Fairmont provided everything I needed (fun bar/Tonga Room, nice food, great neighborhood). Can't wait to go back!

Historic luxury in the heart of San Francisco

Pros: Convenient location. Very comfortable room, bed, sheets.
Stayed 3 nights while visiting our son. We had a beautiful king room with a view-clean, comfortable, lovely. Visited the Tonga Room late one night and that was a memorable experience-a band, on a boat, in a pool in the basement of a luxury hotel! You can't just find that anywhere!

The hotel is very beautiful, outside and in lobby and hallways but my room wasn't what I expected very disappointed the view and experience was great. But moldy shower ceiling really and wallpaper tearing in bathroom next too tub seriously come on no toothpaste or robes, 5star right ? Been too nicer hotels at best western in Stockton similar but better room experience for a fraction of the price wouldn't say $500+ a night was worth it but our honeymoon made it worth it service was very good valet the best around funny and kind room service the best but come on fairmont hotel can't let a average hotel pass you maybe next time ill enjoy it but too be honest I would rather save my money . I was in room 1706 on july7,2016

Excellent luxury hotel in Nob Hill

Checked into hotel with guaranteed deluxe city view room to find out there was only one queen bed no choices for double beds to a room. Traveling with teenage daughter so we got upcharged $85 more each night for separate beds. Excellent location friendly staff. Minus the room bed issue, was a perfect stay.
