Nice boutique hotel at quiet and convenient areaPosted Aug 25, 2015
Pros: Small but well maintained, enriched hotel amenity.
Cons: Coffee or tea lounge would be nice,
Location: Approx 2 to 3 blocks to the small grocery store, wine shop, caffe, and drugstore.
Stayed this hotel by choosing mystery hotel to try something new that I would never book by myself, as I I tend to choose hotel chains with steated quality such as Starwood, Hilton, or Marriott. I enjoyed my stay at this stylishly renovated boutique hotel in terms of hotel amenity and service offered, as well as warm and welcoming hotel staff member. It was relaxing and seamless stay and I would probably come back without a discount rates. For the hotel amenity: Access to the spa that has sun deck with view and dining service was great. Drinks, fruits, magazines are available, and facility is well maintained. Turn down service was appreciated. Room amenity was very enriched, I found to be much better than the big hotel chains. Only thing that was not pleasant about this hotel is that I had ezuma? breakouts and redness though out my body after jacuzzi and pool, which gotten worse by next morning...

Location: Nob Hill
Sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel.

Schönes Hotel in zentraler LagePosted Aug 12, 2015

Great location to everythingPosted Aug 11, 2015
Pros: The staff and the room was fantastic. The spa downstairs was very clean and modern, nice touch to use for hotel guests.
Location: It is walking distance to Chinatown, Union Square and Fishermans Wharf. Also there is a cable car stop right out front to make it even easier.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful, well kept and very clean. The staff were very polite and helpful. They definitely remember who you are and go out of their way to cater to those small things that certain people want. For us it was extra coffee, and after the first night we requested extra coffee we always returned to our room with extras on the counter, it was a nice thoughtful touch.

What a fantastic hotelPosted Aug 8, 2015
Pros: Staff were fantastic and did what they could to make the experience enjoyable.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of.
Location: A visit to Pier 39, Fishermans Wharf and Union Square are definitely to be recommended. The bus tours are an easy way to get around the city.
A beautiful hotel situated in Nob Hill close to Union Square. Although situated at the top of a hill it is not too far a walk from Union Square (approx 10 minutes walking) and quite easy to manage if you are in normal health. The hotel is decorated boutique style and all furnishing are carefully chosen to co ordinate with each other. The rooms are spotless with quality bed and bathroom linen. L'Occitane Lemon Verbena products are provided in the bathroom. a luxury touch and give a lovely fresh smell to the bathroom as you walk in. There is air conditioning in the room, which is good for the hotter summer months. Wifi is free in public rooms, but has to be paid for in the hotel room, although you can join a scheme free of charge which provides free hotel room wifi during your stay. Although we did not use the hotel restaurant, it does come highly rated on trip advisor as one to try.

Fine Service in a Great LocationPosted Aug 3, 2015
We enjoyed our stay at the Scarlet Huntington from start to finish. The staff provided excellent service throughout. The Big 4 restaurant was our choice for the first night's dinner in San Francisco -- mostly for convenience -- but it proved to be very good. We also appreciated the fresh fruit and other breakfast items in generous portions in the mornings when we ate at the hotel. Room service, by the way, is also convenient and not delayed. We saw that some people criticized the change in styling in the rooms and in some public spaces such as the lobby. But the touch of flash and funk actually appealed to us and played a part in our saying yes to the Scarlet Huntington when booking our lodging. The one downside was that the visually enjoyable furniture is not as cushy if one wanted, say, to sit and watch a full movie. Another plus: The Nob Hill Spa, which provides the pool and other facilities for the hotel, has a very good staff of masseurs and masseuses. We like massages as part of our end-of-trip preparation for the return home and the resumption of our work schedules.

Great boutique hotelPosted Jul 28, 2015
Wonderful boutique hotel on top of a hill. Keep in mind that if you walk in SF, you will have to walk up a very steep hill every time you leave and come back to the hotel. Great staff. Beautiful rooms.

It got the job donePosted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: It is a very nice hotel and very conveniently located.
Cons: The bed was a little to soft for our taste. We did not get a lot of rest.
Location: Kitty-corner from Grace Cathedral, walking distance to Union Square (although the way back us uphill, so beware). We actually walked to Pier 39!
The idea was to have a quick get-away to celebrate our anniversary and the hotel was more than adequate.
