I really like the cleanliness of the room. I felt safe despite the hotel being in a very bad neighborhood. What ruins the experience is the noise and chais going on around the hotel. I got woke up several times at night because of screaming drunks or drug addicts in the streets. The staff is friendly and vigilant, the morning coffee is excellent. But I would highly suggest they keep some cups or glasses for drinking water in the room.

It's extremely dirty! Cockroaches. Sticky tacky visibly unclean floors, greasy toilet levers, dirty dresser, dirty sheets towels, dirty shower, pee on toilet, etc It's run down. The carpets are soiled and smell like cigarettes. The shades are stained and sticky. The paint is layered thick on the trim. Etc. The neighborhood is terrible. Food, cardboard, and needles strewn about each morning by the drug addicts and mentally ill who live outside on the block. People selling drugs. Groups of ~15 blocking the sidewalks. Car situation blows. They list onsite parking but it's a block away run by some shady Russians who tell you that you can "in and out" is included when you park for $40 but do not honor that and charge you again. Street parking is allowed if you move by 6am but your car will be gone through and/or have it's windows smashed even under the main door cameras. It's a rip off. $80 per night becomes $95 after fees. $95 which becomes $110 if you include a bathroom (the room changes during checkout to not include a bathroom). $110 becomes $150 due to parking. I would have preferred to sleep in the car or anywhere else for that matter. The motel in Mountain View was nice enough and $80. For the positives; it is right downtown and if you go 4 - 8 blocks or so in any direction it gets a little bit better. There are a lot of boarded up places but there are also some really nice establishments. Staff was friendly. The people watching was great!

There was nothing great about that place. It was disgusting, i didnt wven stay the whole night. The front dest guy tried to get over on me tried to charge an extra $100 off me. It was mo of a hostel then a hotel. I wouldnt recommend anyone staying there.

Extremely friendly staff. If you're used to modern chain corporate hotels this will not be what you're expecting but if you're an experienced economy traveler, it's great.

If you want to get any sleep don’t stay here! Had to check out at 3 am and find a new hotel because it was so noisy and impossible to sleep. I asked for a different room, and they refused and also refused a refund! Worst place I have ever stayed.
