Disgusting

As per usual in the Bay Area, hotel prices were on a surge so this hotel took part and charged over 400 dollars (including taxes and fees) for one of the most disgusting rooms I've stayed in. The carpets were covered in stains (see pictures below), the rooms smelled like mold, and everything else outdated and comparable to a low end cheap highway motel. At least you know what you're getting with these. I understand price adjustments but it's shameful to see this hotel could charge that much money for that such terrible conditions.

Pros: Very pleasant staff!
Wasn't crazy about the location but it was a decent motel with a very friendly staff!

Staff was very friendly but hotel was awful

More of a motel. I wouldn't stay here again. The neighborhood was a bit dingy.

Clean, economical place to stay

We arrived late and the young man checking us in was friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel grounds and parking lot were neat and well-kept. Breakfast was the typical fare: eggs, sausage, bacon, cereals, juices. The woman refilling supplies kept everything full right up until closing; that was nice. She was also very friendly and helpful. Rooms were neat and clean. The area the hotel was in was a bit on the "lower end", but we felt safe at the hotel and walking around. We were in town to visit family in Menlo Park; we will stay there again.

Ok, but not great

The internet was down during our two night stay. Also, bring your hair dryer. When I called the front desk and asked about a hair dryer, I was told it was in the room on the counter. When I replied it was not, the front desk person said 'Darn the last person must've taken it.' Then I was told there were no extra hair dryers and the hotel was sold out, so he couldn't go and get one from another room. He then said 'Sorry'. I haven't been to a hotel in years that didn't have a hair dryer in the room.

Close to where were working during the day

The room appeared to have been updated but was in a motel style which is noisier than most hotels. The sheets were awful. There were so many pills that my legs were chafed by morning. Staff were friendly especially the evening front desk clerk and breakfast helper.
