Good and comfy

Nice hotel, not too shabby. Clean rooms, good breakfast, and friendly staff. There's a bay trail nearby you can walk through.

Bad if You're Handicapped

Posted Oct 18, 2017
If you are handicapped in a way that you need a wheelchair or trouble with walking, this is not the place for you. The handicap room was created at the Best Western without thought to the actual user experience. It was basically a basic room with some handles slapped onto the small bathroom. Here, you enter into a hotel room that has a entry door that won't hold itself open. You enter into a narrow hallway into your room that is barely large enough for your standard wheelchair. Soon you ditch the wheelchair as there's no space on the room to wheel. You try to settle into the bed but the hotel decided a tall bed for handicaps is a good thing. If it's going to be tall, there should be railing assist. But of course, none of that was there. You deal with it, but you hope that the bathroom at least would be better. You enter the bathroom and realize that you definitely booked the wrong hotel. The bathroom is small and dirty looking. It's like a small dirty bathroom you would expect in a motel instead of the Best Western. They have railings around the sink but if you lean too heavily, the sink sunk like it was going to give out on you. The sink and counter themselves look like a two year old decided to give construction a try. A bad caulking job with clear separation between different pieces hobbled together to make a counter. After paying $200 for your room including taxes and breakfast, you would expect more from a big name hotel like this. At least staff was nice.

Excellent location

Close to the airport with a shuttle that picks up and dropped me off. Average hotel with decent breakfast. No the most modern but comfy bed. Bathroom needs some updating and renovating.

Chose hotel because it is close to the airport and provides shuttle service. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and the restaurant was great.

Good hotel for layover

Posted Oct 14, 2017
Checked was quick, staff was friendly. Room was spacious, but there were some hairs in the bed and toilet kept running off and on. Water pressure was also weak (almost like taking a shower in a passing rain). Breakfast area was a little messy, as it had some small pieces of glass on the floor from broken cup and guests in a rush. Overall, good hotel to stay in for layover, generally clean and comfortable room.

The hotel was ok. The benefit of it is that it was close to the airport and bonus it had a complementary breakfast which was great. It's about 1/2hr drive to downtown which was also ok since we headed out onto our Pacific coast trip from the hotel that was on the way.

Close to airport but we had room problems

Posted Oct 7, 2017
Pros: Close to airport
Cons: More room beside the bed. TVs that don't stop working
Location: Close to airport
The TV suddenly stopped working at 9:30 pm and it took 3 phone calls to the front desk until someone came to press a "reset" button on the back. Why didn't the front desk just tell us about that button? Also, the king bed was so close to the wall on one side, that I could barely get out of bed. There was no where to put my glasses and other necessary items while I slept.
