Very peaceful and quiet had a great time here the staff was very nice and very close to the airport

NICE ROOM, CONVENIENT TO AIRPORT

Pros: Convenient
Cons: Hot breakfast
Location: Convenient to airport
The room served our purposes. It was very convenient in getting to the car rental agency and airport. The room was nice and comfortable. The front desk was helpful. The breakfast was just ok, nothing elaborate. Nothing hot unless you warmed it up in the microwave. It was, however, adequate.

Good value

Pros: Location, regular shuttle bus to the airport, clean and safe area. The receptionists were very pleasant and helpful.
Cons: As others have suggested, the room where breakfast is eaten has too few tables and chairs.
Location: The hotel is remote from any shops, bars and restaurants although South San Francisco is only a 20 minute walk away with all these facilities.
I spent 4 nights here and chose this hotel because it was a 15 minute walk to a railway station that connects to downtown in 20 minutes. I would think that to find a similar hotel in the heart of San Francisco you would be paying at least double the rate of this one. The walk to the station felt safe, the Caltrain ran to time and was inexpensive and I certainly wouldn't want to drive into or around SF when public transport is easily available. The hotel was set in what seems to be a high tech business park along with plenty of other hotels. The room was clean although the outlook through the window wasn't anything special. The main problem with the room was the noise from the fridge and the a/c unit, both very noisy. This was easily fixed by unplugging them both before going to sleep. The breakfast was good and plentiful and the coffee was good too. Recommended.

I used to stay at larkspur everytime I am in SFO. The staff is superb, always very accomodating. The lights and AC is not too good though.

Pros: Close to airport. Was able to get coffee and something to eat for breakfast.
Location: I had no car and this hotel seems to be embedded in an Industrial Estate so restaurants etc. were not within walking distance.
A huge deficit is the lack of dinner/bar facilities at the hotel.

Staff was very helpful and friendly and room was clean, kitchen was a bonus. A little bit out of the city but hotel offers complimentary shuttle to Union Square. Easy and affordable way to visit SF. We had a great time!

Paper thin walls

The person in the room above me got up 3 3am. After they left and I fell back to sleep the alarm in the room next to me has been going off since about 3:30. Repeated efforts to get staff to turn off (no one seems to be in the room is unheeded, no response to calls). That's 3 hours of needed sleep I'm not going to get.

Unsatisfactory I was given a room with a broken dishwasher and not told at check in. The refrigerator made noises and would wake me until I figured out what it was. Average cleaning appearance throughout the hotel.

A little disappointing.

They don't clean everyday. They took our housekeeping tip one day but neglected to clean our room. The carpet is filthy. The countertop in the kitchen when we arrived had a big sticky cirlcle. The dishes didn't look clean. The staff was friendly but the overall experience for us was not great.
