convenient place to stay while working in San Jose

Pros: price and convenience
Cons: updates in carpet, furniture
Location: Walmart and Starbucks close by; good selection of restaurants in the 2-3 mile radius
Needed a reasonable place to stay while traveling in Northern California on business. While nothing in the area is "reasonable", this was one of the better priced options I could find. I booked through Expedia and everything was in place when I arrive. The room was nothing fancy, but it was clean and moderately updated. No elevator available, but only one set of stairs to climb. Close to restaurants another shopping nearby--including a Walmart Market across the street. The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was located close to where we needed to be. Neal was so very helpful and kind!

The worst room we've ever stayed in.

The room was terrible. No hot water in sink. Sink & faucets in awful condition. Slippery tub with no handles or mat. Could'nt find light to turn on over vanity. Kleenex box empty. Clock radio broken. Replaced. Safety latch on door almost broken off. Windows in front were filthy. Could have changed clothes without anybody seeing. The beds were new & very comfortable. That's all that was good with the entire stay. Thank goodness it was for a funeral & we only stayed one night. The room rate was $186.00 . Terrible!!!!!

Terrible, Horrible stay

First off ,the room has ROACHES,(We Saw 2 ,which was one too Many) the room SMELLED like SMOKE.but yet they say "No Smoking. The room needs a face lift badly . The bed was very ,very old and uncomfortable.Thank goodness i brought house shoes...the carpet old,smelly would not walk on the floor. They had 2 prositute staying in a room next to us .So they had customer service through the night. Did not feel safe ..We were uncomfortable the whole stay .We regret ...woke up we back pain an neck pain from the bed. I am a business and pleasure traveler and i know a good room .this was NOT...i should have research better.We learn our lesson.this hotel is a no star..rating i have seen motel 6 better then this..turn away not worth the money!!!!!!!

It looks these comments are not for our property. You might have stayed at a different location. Out carpets pretty new (2 years old), we have new furniture as well as brand new beds. We have regular pest control services who come twice a month and we just had a service spray last week. All our rooms are non-smoking....

I checked in early as soon as a room was available the whole hotel is very clean and smells good customer service was great the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful
