Convenient Comfortable

Great for a night or two in San Jose. Close to highway for easy access to the countries attractions and airport. Breakfast is good as is pool grill.

Beautiful traditional Hotel

We liked the ambiance of this hotel. Beautiful Christmas tree. Comfortable rooms, there was a fancy formal Japanese restaurant. but the only regular restaurant for dinner was a buffet. There was food from the bar, pizza and sandwiches. There was a very good restaurant by the pool but it closed at 6pm. The pool was not heated so we couldn't swim. We did love the gentleman playing the piano in the evenings. He was awesome. We would return.

Nice hotel, tv too small, not many oprtions to eat if you do not have a car.

Run down with rooms that smell of smoke.

They told us they couldn't get us a new room when we complained of the smoke smell. Furniture and woodwork is old. Shower was good and the room was spacious.

Hotel muy cómodo

Pros: Servicio e Instalaciones
El hotel es muy cómodo con muy buen servicio, para cuestiones de turismo puede quedar un poco lejos del centro de la ciudad, se requiere un taxi para moverse a pie solo queda una autopista

Bring Earplugs!

Pros: Rooms were nice.
Cons: CLOSE THE NIGHTCLUB!
Location: 30 hour from airport. However there is nothing to walk to. The tour guides emphasize not to walk anywhere as it's a bad neighborhood.
We stayed here as the meeting place for a tour. We spent 3 nights. All pretty nice and convenient. Food and bar pretty good. That said, there is a night club on the property. The music was BLASTING. Thumping all night. We were on the 6th floor and on Saturday night the windows actually rattled. Thump, thump, thump! It's a waste of time to complain. They just say "sorry". I would never stay here again because of that. This hotel caters to travel groups. Groups that get up EARLY. The group we traveled with has cancelled any further bookings with this hotel.

Could be my always go to hotel but.....

Ive found the deal through expedia. Already have stayed there few times in the past but this hotel is sadly not for me for the following reasons: 1.Check in and check out can take up to 30 min depends on the waiting line.. for me it was the check out this time. 2.room service, for me is very important since i use it a lot at my stays and particulary on that hotel since its on a hill and you cant go anywhere without a taxi. Room service should be important to the hotel as well since they earn from it. At all of my stays there including this one room service is NOT functional, doesnt take your calls most of the times, reception sometimes doesnt too... 3. Personalized service for frequent visitors doesnt exist. On other hotels, all of them actually the frequent guest that stays half of the year in the hotel like me is valorised and maintained. In this hotel the feeling is that they do me a great favor by letting me spend my money there. Just realised after a while not going there that this hotels service is not worthy of the price paid. Other than that all is excelente. Too bad.

NOT A GOOD HOTEL! FOR STAYING @ SAN JOSE, TERRIBLE

Bad service, bad behavior of the people at front desk! They don't help in anything! My room got a problem with the electricity and when I returned after breakfast my room was open and a lot of electricity tools were on my bathroom, they don't even contact me for telling me that they will enter My room! There are plenty of trendy and freshly hotels at San Jose better than this old fashioned hotel!
